A Basque city with a Basque native! - Our guide, a Basque, was passionate about his Basque city and had interesting perspectives about the development in Bilbao, especially the Guggenheim. The group, probably the maximum for "small," was a friendly and international group, and we ended up dining with two participants after the tour had ended. The tour indeed focused on the history of the city, but also included some culinary recommendations. The itinerary was well-chosen, the guide knowledgeable and Bilbao's history compelling.

Samuel was an excellent... - Samuel was an excellent guide. His English was excellent and he gave us many Basque cultural insights on customs and practices that we didn't know about. He was very well prepared, personable and entertaining. We would strongly recommend this experience at the start of your time in Bilbao.

👍🏼👍🏼 - Turns out i was the only one who booked the Sunday afternoon tour. But still Samuel was very generous with his time and continued. I enjoyed the walk around historical corners of Casco Viejo...a lot. Thank you Samuel. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Architecture and History in Context - Our guide Samuel was outstanding. We came to this tour with very little knowledge of Basque history or culture, and Samuel created a historical, political and cultural context for what we saw in the old city. He also helped us understand how the Guggenheim Museum that had attracted us to Bilbao had influenced the development of a 21st century Bilbao. We really appreciated his depth of knowledge and conversational style.

Easy stroll with a lovely guide - It was a nice stroll around the city and some handy tips and points of interest were pointed out which helped us ober our week in Bilbao. Lovely guide. :)

Fun tour in the middle of Fiesta! - It was a good introductory tour of the Old Town with general information about history of Bilbao. Walking around during the Fiesta was extra fun and added authenticity to the experience.

Highly Recommended - Our guide Samuel was knowledgeable and interesting. We learnt quite a bit about the history and geopolitics of the Basque region in general and Bilbao in particular. We visited all the major points of interest in the Casco Vieio (Old Town). It was nice to do the tour with a small group of 6 only.
