Highlights
  • San Sebastian - Donostia - We will take an hour and a half guided tour of the old town, visiting the Church of San Vicente and the Basilica of Santa María del Coro. We will go through much of the history of the old part of the city, remembering the fires that devastated much of the city.

We will enjoy the atmosphere of San Sebastian strolling through the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza de la Constitución, to reach the Port, one of the most important places, both for its relevance in the character of its people and for the importance of maritime trade. And who said a walk through San Sebastian, said a walk through Bahía de la Concha. Get your cameras ready, we must return home with this photo.

We will pass by the Town Hall, one of the noble buildings, until we reach the Ensanche de San Sebastian. And at the end of this route we will go to the green lung, Plaza Gipuzkoa, and Plaza Okendo, to contemplate the Urumea river and its bridges before leaving San Sebastian.

The hike to San Juan de... - The hike to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe was stupendous. The view was very beautiful. It was rather hot on that day and therefore a bit tiring, but i would still recommend it. If only one could swim after the hike!

Late 50s Couples day trip - Well planned out, with an excellent walking tour of San Sebastian, followed by enough free time for coffee and lunch and walk around.. the walkout to the church was fab, although hard work for my 57 years, on the way back up the mountain ti get to the bus, bring water as its thirsty work. Would highly recommend this trio.

Beautiful scenic excursion - Nice walk to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. It takes about one hour and 15 minutes round trip but is worth it. You should be fairly fit though. If not walk a little to get closer and take photos. There are many things to do in San Sebastián.

A must do when in the area! - Fantastic Day! Armando was a fantastic guide! It was a good combination of group touristing and time to explore on your own. San Sebastián was great but the stop at San Juan de Gaztelugatxe was amazing! A must do!

Beautiful, but be prepared for the hike! - I loved our stop in San Sebastián where the guide told us the history of the city. We then had a few hours to wander around on our own. I recommend that you try the pastries or the local cuisine when visiting. Now, for San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, I have mixed feelings. Let me start by warning you that the hike is not for people with serious heart problems. The view was beautiful, but you have to be careful. Know when to stop to catch your breath. Wear hiking shoes and bring some water with you.

Interesting sightseeing - San Sebastian is a beautiful city. I wish I knew earlier that We could swim. San Juan de Gaztelufatxe was nice but not worth to walk for 2,4 kilometres under scorching sun 🥵. There is also a shorter route but for us wasn't available😭
