• Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - We will start touring the exterior and interior of the museum, making a brief introduction about the origin of Bilbao and how was the city chosen to house the last great museum of the twentieth century. We will talk about its architecture and its architect Frank Ghery in its spectacular atrium, from there we will see its exterior talking about the sculptures and that they are part of its surroundings. Then we will see the temporary exhibitions that are exhibited, deepening the works, their authors, their artistic tendencies and aspects that may be interesting to better understand the exhibitions. The purpose of the experience is to get closer to the world of art, especially contemporary art, and try not to be unknown to us.

Explore the Museum under the expert guidance of a professional local guide with an Art History degree from the University of the Basque Country. This comprehensive two-hour tour includes not only visits to current exhibitions, but also a walk around the building to appreciate its architectural aspects. We’ll also include interesting details about why Bilbao was chosen as the location for the building. The tour inside the museum covers both permanent and temporary collections, taking different routes to experience the interior from all possible angles. As it’s not feasible to cover the entire museum in one go, we’ll provide guidance on exploring the rest at your leisure, as your admission allows for multiple visits on the same day.
