A valuable, enjoyable experience. - The class included hands-on experience. Mikel, the chef giving the class, gave helpful cooking tips at every step of the preparation, and the food we prepared was delicious. It was a great bonus to learn about the chef's culinary background and achievements. His knowledge, experience, and love for cooking and teaching made the class a valuable experience. A culinary delight. Delicious, fun, and educational. - My wife and I had the pleasure of cooking with Mikel. What a wonderful and delicious experience. We never imagined that it would be so much fun but also that we would learn so many tips and so much about basque cuisine. My wife and I both enjoy cooking at home and we expected that this would be a nice experience but we were overjoyed with the experience. While we thought it would simply be learning how to cook a paella and drinking some sangria…it was much more. Mikel is very talented and makes this experience unlike so many other cooking classes that we have taken. Don’t hesitate. It’s well worth the $ and a fun and filling 3.5 hours!

Funny experience - Yesterday I hallucinate how Mikel teaches cooking classes can attend a class of Rice, Cider Chorizo and Torrijas. And not only does it well but it makes it tremendous fun as well as Pro, also exceptionally has measured the times of everything, although it seems that it can not be to everything this. It is really worth the course, it is quite an experience.

Wonderful day! - This is an amazing experience! Mikel was awesome- full of history and stories. The cooking experience was so fun- very hands on and delicious. If you are in Bilbao and enjoy food- this is a great activity.

It was magical - The most memorable part of this terrific experience was eating and drinking what was created! As for the process, the technique for creating the chicken and the shrimp broths was a learning experience. The introduction to bomba rice was educational as I had never used this before. Both paella dishes ( one seafood and one chicken with rabbit) were fragrant and flavorful. The dessert must be tasted to be understood; brioche became a custard with a crisp caramelized top… it was magic!

Mikel is an excellent chef and teacher! - I booked this experience with my girlfriend during our short trip to Bilbao. We both had an excellent time. Mikel created a super fun, relaxed and sociable atmosphere within the class amongst us and the other attendees. We learnt the skills for cooking seafood and traditional paella amongst other Spanish dishes, all of which were delicious. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bilbao. You really do get your moneys worth as you cook so much food! Thanks Mikel!

Educational, fun, delicious! - This class was incredible! Mikel, the chef and instructor, was so knowledgeable and made every step of this class accessible. His demeanor was to educate and impress. I’d recommend this class to everyone I know. Both paellas were so flavorful but in vastly different ways. I feel confident that I could make it at home. Hearing Mikel’s story of how he worked his way to the head chef at a fantastic restaurant in Bilbao was worth as much as learning how to make paella. I feel like we were extremely lucky because it was just my husband in the class, so we had more 1:1 time than normal. Mikel provided some great recommendations on local restaurants and bakeries. Finally we can’t forget about his award winning dessert! Just wow!!! Book this class! So worth it!

Great fun - Mikel was fantastic. Welcoming, full of stories and very knowledgeable. We not only learnt how to make paella, but lots of other useful cooking tips too. We had a really fun and memorable time as a family!
