Top Shelf Bilbao Sommelier - Great sommelier that focused on the Basque region - both Spain and France wines, explaining the varitals as well as the difference between txakoli from Bilboa compared to San Sebastian wine. Great education and history provided. Wines selected were top shelf and very pleased

Excellent wine tasting - Great wine tasting experience! Irene was so knowledgeable and had great enthusiasm and energy in explaining the different wines. The pairing with different cheeses and charcuterie was excellent. Would highly recommend this experience.

Highly recommend this wine tasting - We were treated to a wonderful history and geography lesson that lent depth to our wine tasting, Our host, Irene, is a high level sommelier. She guided our tasting of several lovely wines—mostly a variety of Txokoli wines. The wines were top notch. They were accompanied by a variety of locally produced cheeses and meats. This tasting has proved valuable as my husband and I have used the information about these wines throughout our continued travels through the Basque region. There were only three guests at this tasting—we two and a woman pilgrim from the Netherlands. It was a very nice evening.

Great opportunity to explore Basque wines - A well curated and interesting wine tasting experience. My daughter and I really enjoyed the selection of both red and white Basque wines included in the tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable, warm and engaging.

Don’t miss this opportunity - wine & culture- stay for pintas - This is an excellent wine tasting- and more than that, it is an introduction to Basque culture. Our sommelier did an expert job of educating us on each varietal. She gave us tips about buying Spanish wines at home. She explained the local tradition of cider making.
The private room set up for tasting is nicely appointed.
The restaurant offers delicious pintas and excellent wines. We stayed after the tasting for a terrific meal. ( Save room for the cheesecake!)
The location was easy to find.

Great Basque wine tasting - Great wine tasting in a very nice wine bar with exceptional wines. The owner introduces you to the wines and Basque culture. Highly recommended! The whole staff is super friendly and has fun doing it!

Wow!! Fantastic. - If you are thinking about booking just do it! Irene is amazingly knowledgeable and we had a wonderful evening. The best wines I have ever tasted!

Wine tasting - Irene was perfect host, very informative. 5 Spanish wines tasted and were all lovely and paired with charcuterie. Great way to spend 2 hours in Bilbao. Highly recommend

Beautiful wine tasting with regional wine - Nice wine tasting in a nice wine bar. Sommelier Irene was super nice and gave us a nice evening. There are 5 regional wines to taste. You learn about the region and taste very great wines. There is also a matching cheese or ham. A great evening! Highly recommended if you like to taste regional wine.

Good thorough wine... - Good thorough wine tasting tour of five wines - one cava, two whites and two reds - of the local area which had all their own differences and particular textures. All paired with cheeses and cured meats. I was not very knowledgeable on this topic beforehand so I feel it was very much worth my time. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
