Perfect Icelandic Sampler - This was such a valuable “sampler” of the delights Iceland has to offer. I was picked up as expected and the tour guide for the first three days, Branimir, was such a good guide. He spoke about the history of iceland as well as the various geographical features. We did not have to worry about a single thing because he always thought ahead and handled it. For example, when a car crash closed a road, he immediately thought of three alternate activities to fill the time until the road reopened. When we needed to stop to use the restroom, he knew where to go along the route. We did everything the itinerary named and had some great learning, food, and camaraderie along the way. The inns where we stayed were good. This won’t be a 5-star portion of the trip, but it’s a place to rest your head for the night and have a good breakfast in the morning before heading off. After the third day, I had a different guide for the final day. Stefen was also great. He’s from iceland so has a lot of stories to share. This one-day tour on the peninsula is full of stops to take great photos.

Amazing - The tour was fantastic, and our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. We saw waterfalls, Black Sand Beach, a Glacier, an ice cave, and, of course, the magnificent Northern Lights. Highly recommended. We were very happy to see so many beautiful sights. Overall, the small group tour is amazing. Thank you.

Great tour company, excellent experience! - My husband and I, along with our adult son, booked this 4 day trip on a recent visit to Reykjavik in late February 2025. This 4 day tour is actually a 3 day South Coast trip + a 1 day Snaefellsnes trip. Make sure to read the bottom portion of this review for my recommendations and important things to note. We began day 1 with the 3 day portion. The day before our tour began, we received an email with the exact location for pickup. Our pickup was at bus stop 9, which appeared to be where every single tour in Iceland was beginning as well! It was kind of hectic, with every bus pulling up and the drivers all shouting names of passengers. Fortunately, within about 5 minutes our bus driver arrived and we were able to get out of the chaos. After that, everything went very smoothly. Our tour guide Rocky was absolutely AMAZING! I don't know if you can request a guide, but if so - ask for him and I promise this will be the best tour you do in Iceland! Not only did he entertain us with stories and educate us with history, but he also gave us great pointers on the best photo spots and made sure we arrived at stops at the perfect time (sunset on the beach, sunrise on a church cliff, etc...). And to top it off, he is an excellent Aurora hunter! Both nights he was vigilant about monitoring the weather and searching for the signs of the elusive Northern Lights. Pay attention to his music selection as well... I swear that every single song he plays over the 3 days relates to exactly what you are doing at that moment - very entertaining!!!! There were 16 of us on this trip, and we enjoyed getting to know some of the other travelers. I think this was the perfect number. On day 4 we began the one day trip to Snaefellsnes Peninsula. This day includes a LOT of time on the bus. Unfortunately, our tour guide for this day was not great. She was nice, but not the fun personality we had enjoyed with Rocky. There was a great stop at Djúpalónssandur beach and good whale watching at Arnarstapi, but really those were the only stops worth mentioning. The tour lasted about 11 hours and almost all of it was on the bus. I think the longest stop we had was for 45 minutes, but most were only hop on - hop off stops for photos. We had 21 people on this trip and it was too much. Important things to note: The Buses: Try to get in row 1 if possible! It feels less crowded and you're able to get on and off much more quickly. The buses seat 22 people. On our last day when we had 21, it felt way too cramped! The buses are very nice and clean though and every seat has a charger. If they aren't working - mention it to the driver as they have a button that turns them all on and off. Space is kinda limited. We each had a backpack and they didn't fit in the overhead storage so we had to hold them on our laps. One carry on suitcase per person is allowed in the back luggage are though. The Hotels: The hotel our first night was very basic. Like a bed and small bath, nothing else. No tv. Not a problem because hopefully you are out looking at the Northern Lights, but definitely a basic room. It was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable though so no complaints. Only one hairdryer for the whole hotel, so you might want to bring your own if that's a necessity for you. The hotel the second night was awesome!!! That was my favorite hotel of our entire trip. The third night was back in Reykjavik at a hotel called Reykjavik Lights. It was clean and comfortable, but tight on space. All of the hotels provided breakfast. They were primarily yogurt, oats and cold deli meats/cheeses and bread. Recommendations: If you are traveling in a party of three, they give you the option of booking a double room + a single room or booking a triple room. We opted for the double + single and I am so thankful we did. All of the rooms are pretty tight on space and the bathrooms are very small. 3 adults + luggage would have been way too crowded! Also, because we had booked separate rooms, when we got to the hotel on night 2, they gave us a two bedroom apartment which was lovely. Do not expect gourmet cuisine on this trip! This tour is all about packing in as many adventures as possible in a short amount of time. While we did stop at a couple of restaurants, there were also many grocery store / gas station stops for sandwiches/snacks on the go and one diner was at a gas station diner (which actually had a great burger!). We are kind of foodies, so this part was a bit of a let down, but only because we weren't expecting it. In hind site, I'm really glad we didn't waste a ton of time at restaurants, but I do wish I would have packed more snacks. Wear lots of layers! You are getting on and off the bus a lot! One minute it's snowing while your walking on the beach, then its sleeting on your glacier hike and then it's sunny while you explore a waterfall. And that can all happen in like an hour! Don't worry though, nothing seemed to last more than a few minutes and then the sun would creep back out - just be prepared for everything! If I had to do this over again, I would have only booked the 3 day trip. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula just wasn't that great for a one day trip. It was way too much driving and in the winter the roads were more icy and everything was covered in snow. In the summer, this is probably amazing, but in the winter I'd skip it. And honestly, if I were doing it in the summer, I'd probably just rent a car and go explore it on my own. That might just be because I didn't think our tour guide for that day was great, maybe if you got a good one it would be better. Overall - this trip was awesome! I highly recommend the three day trip and this company was very easy to work with.

A great introduction to Iceland - The tour is very well thought out and our guide John was super knowledgeable with geographical facts and info. He also made sure our timing was right so we could do the glacier hike without other crowds. Adam from the glacier hike is also a super insightful guide, he showed us a beautiful little crevice in the glacier which made the experience even more special.

A great experience - The scenery and sights were amazing! The tour was very well organized considering daylight hours were limited from 11am to 3.30pm or so - many fantastic sites were included. Our tour guides were Rocky for the first 3 days and Corinna for the last day. They were very knowledgable guides and skilled drivers on the icy roads. Rocky's sense of humour and great playlist kept spirits up particularly when the rains hit on Day 2. Fully recommend this tour.

Amazing Iceand tour - Great tour. The glacier hike at Sólheimajökull was super interesting and fun thanks to our Portuguese guide (I forgot his name). The Snaefellsnes Peninsula was gorgeous and our driver and guide Elias was the best.
