Snaefellsnes Peninsula: a beautiful place to explore, with a company who knows how to do it - I highly recommend them, based on our experience. What a great day 6 of us had, with Toby, our fearless tour guide. We made the reservation a day before. Received a phone call confirmation, and he showed up early. We then went along on our trek. As we drove, Toby gave us much information about our trip, with a lot of history and sharing many personal stories about his life. His driving, which in Iceland counts, we went through a mini blizzard, saw a small avalanche, strong winds and felt safe with him . The sites were often breathtaking , and beautiful. The peninsula is very representative of Iceland. We went up to craters, saw a black sand beach , fishing village, small waterfalls, great lunch.. It was a very active , but easy active trip. He took his time, we never felt rushed. He respected each of our abilities, for climbing, steps or rocks etc. The tour ended up being 12 to 14 hours long, and I would do it again, or any other tour with this company ( we did not have enough time to schedule anything else with them ) . When we look back, it was our favorite tour, in a great spot.

Amazing excursion! - Private Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour from Reykjavik Reykjavik Amazing tour! 943906400 We had an amazing day with this tour company. I highly recommend them! We chose a small group tour to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It was so much fun. The vistas were spectacular. There were 6 people in our group. We are all active adults, friends for many years. Our guide, Toby was the best. He encouraged us to challenge ourselves but was respectful of each individual’s limits. Toby is calm, conscientious, knowledgeable, entertaining and energetic. Toby is an excellent and cautious driver. During our 14 hour trip we encountered a full complement of Icelandic weather including, ice, wind, blizzards and avalanche conditions. Toby made appropriate stops for lunch, snacks and bathroom breaks. Toby has a great sense of humor and told us a number of traditional Icelandic tales and sagas. He demonstrated his fitness level when he sprinted a mile back to help secure paramedics for a gentleman we encountered who had injured his ankle. Personal note to Toby: We thought of another tune for you: Roundabout by Yes
