My husband and I participated in the Amish Experience this past weekend and we really enjoyed it, particularly the tour that we did of the homestead. We were the only people on our tour, which allowed for a personalized experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and answered our questions in a way that reflected his experience and understanding of Amish culture and Amish life. We took two other tours during our weekend in Lancaster County and the one we did with The Amish Experience was far and above the best tour we did. I would recommend this tour to others who want to learn about the Amish.

We really enjoyed the 1 1/2-hour tour w/the 30-minute Theater/Video about "Jacob's Choice" and the Amish School & Home Display. What really made the tour great was our tour guide, Jim! He was very personable, knowledgeable, kind & patient in answering all of our questions. We would definitely recommend this tour to those who have never experienced the Amish culture before!

Carol did a fabulous job explaining so many interesting details about the Amish. I especially appreciated that she took our family group of five at 10 AM even though we had 11AM tix

Carole was very informative about the Amish lifestyle. We learned a lot how they live, their schooling, their community. The movie was as good.

I enjoyed learning how the Amish live. The tour guide seemed to know his stuff. I would have liked to have more opportunities to ask questions.
