Tailor-made trip / SUPER - We made a trip with Malta Local Drivers - Tony was our driver.
From the start (our hotel) till the end (our hotel) everything was SUPER ! It felt as if we had known Tony for a long time.
Our tour : short exploration of Birgu (3 cities) - we go back this week for a day/ Marsaxlockk, Blue Grotto and boottrip in the cave, lunch in MDina (nice location/good food) and visit old city.
Tony took our wishes into account and provided a lot of information of all stops and life in Malta.
A tour with Malta Local Drivers is tailor-made to your own wishes.

Great one day personal tour of Malta - Our friends from nz joined us to make for a group of 4 to do a day tour of Malta. We chose chris and his company and from the very start we had clear and effective comms in planning our trip from Australia ahead of time . Our driver was tony who took us all over the island of Malta with stops at all the highlights . Tony was so no knowledgeable and was quick to show us things and explain their context both culturally and historically . But the real benefit for us was Tony’s flexibility and calm and adaptable responsiveness to make our tour work for us . This included re-routing our original itinerary to cope with rain and our last minute changes. We loved our trip and saw and embraced so much of Malta in just 8 hours. Thanks so much tony. You are a true gem with a fabulous sense of humour which made the trip so good for us. Thanks so much

Malta at its best - I must say that this was one of the most fabulous extensor tours that I have been on in recent memory. A wonderful, extensive and informative to experience Malta. Antoine ( Tony) Was efficient and well informed he was also incredibly kind and compassionate!

Great day in Malta - Our driver, Tony, was great. He took us to several interesting destinations: Mdina, the Blue Grotto, Hagar Qim and Marsaxlokk. The vehicle, a van, was very comfortable for four large adults and nicely air conditioned. We had a nice lunch (on our own) at the Blue Grotto and really enjoyed our day with Tony!

Excellent Choice! - We originally booked with Chris, he had to cancel a few days before our trip but was very communicative and re-booked us with his partner David. We thought this trip was a great value. Chris continued to communicate, gave us very specific pickup instructions the day before which was hugely helpful and David showed up right on time with a call to let us know when he was a few minutes away. It was a crazy area as we were arriving off of a cruise ship and all the pickups were happening in one busy street area. David zipped us around the whole island, gave us information and history on Malta and made sure we saw some things that weren't listed on the suggested itinerary. This was MUCH better than getting on a limited cruise ship tour. We would definitely reach out to them again if we were back in Malta! Note this is more of a private driver experience rather than a tour guide experience.

Exceeded All Expectations! - We booked the 8 hour day trip with Dave & it would be fair to say that the experience completely exceeded our expectations.
Dave was polite, chatty, considerate and extremely knowledgable - not only about the sites we visited, but also about general life in Malta and we came away feeling that we had seen and learnt so much.
I would highly recommend this tour as it was the highlight of our visit.

Malta - much to see in a condensed time frame - We travelled with David on an 8-hour tour of the island. He arrived promptly at 9am in front of our hotel. Although it's a relatively small island, there's quite a lot to see in that time frame. From time to time, we felt a bit rushed. David is a good deal younger than we, and occasionally we had to hustle to keep up. The Blue Grotto, a highlight for us, was not available to us due to winds and high seas. Had we been able to do that, we would not have been able to see other desired spots. It would be helpful if we had had a moment to discuss all our travel objectives before starting as we did see a couple of sites that were not on our agenda. David is very knowledgeable and an affable host. We came away from the day knowing a great deal about Malta and its people.

Beautiful and historical area. - The scenic beauty of Malta was fantastic. Chris did a very good job of sharing pertinent info about the areas we explored. Pickup details at the port could have been more "clear" as we did have some difficulty finding our guide. This was communicated by phone and he promptly came to where we were for pickup.
