Have a local tell you about the three cities he loves. - Patrick was fantastic! He loves his cities and loves to share that love. The tour is a wonderful mix of history blended with stories about regular people.

Vivid Historic Storytelling Amid a Small Group Setting - We truly enjoyed this experience! Take a walk with a small group and an engaging, personable guide who clearly enjoys her job and her city. Hear the details of the inquisition and see the terrible methods for how they got the "truth" out of people. Tour the chambers where judgments and punishments were rendered. The experience will probably make you reflect on your own system of justice today! Take a stroll and the beautiful paths of the city as this talented and enthusiastic tour guide recounts history and culture and answers questions along the way. (Thank you for answering questions about the cats of Malta!)

Great 3 hours of history and culture - The tour was excellent due to the fantastic guide we had who was local to the area and knew way more than expected. She also shared many personal stories of her family and how they lived in the area. Very interesting time.

3 cities walking tour - A great tour of the 3 cities. The tour its self takes in Vittoriosa with views of the other 2 cities. Our guide was a local had a really good knowledge of the history of the 3 cities. She also told us stories she had been told as a child and could answer all our questions.

Definitely worth doing! - Another great tour lead by the fountain of knowledge who is Matthew. The tour included entrance into the Inquisitor’s Palace - which gave a fascinating insight into how life and religion has evolved in Malta over the years. Birgu is a lot quieter by comparison to Valletta, but is still steeped in history. Obviously day trippers from the cruise ships have limited time, and therefore choose Valletta as the “place to see”. But if you are here for a few days I’d definitely recommend that you visit The Three Cities, and booking a walking tour is an excellent way to learn about the island.
