Great half day out - We visited as two adults and a 4.5yo and had a great time. I think before visiting you have to read what is inside and make sure it is right for your family to avoid disappointment. Our child loved playing with the Lego and racing the homemade cars. The two soft plays are very small but amused her for a while. We all loved the mini land, which was a very detailed and impressive model of Birmingham with a few buttons to press. The level of detail was astounding! With playing with the Lego, soft play and looking at mini land we spent 3 hours there. There was also a 4D cinema and two small rides that our child wasn’t interested in as she isn’t a fan of rides. There is a buggy park or you can take around with you. There is a cafe but you can also take your own food and drink in. Our child was a great age for this place, I think children much older would get bored easily.

Toddler tickets good value - Overall a lovely day out. We purchased the toddler tickets which made it much much better value, not sure at 3&5 I would pay full price. A good 3 hours visiting everything, kids loved it. Maybe just short staffed today but rides were only being opened for short times which we almost missed and saw a lot of families that did miss out. Shop is expensive but it is selling lego so expected. Would be nice if they had a few more ‘cheaper’ gift options other than just keyrings.

Great experience - Great experience, there’s different things to do including 2 soft play areas, Lego stations and rides . I would definitely recommend. It can get busy so arrive early.

Good visit - Visited on the parent & child term Ticket for £12 & felt this was worth the money. Anything more expensive than £15 & I’d have felt it was abit overpriced. In term time its mainly families with young children, a few older children were there & it was abit busy with them running & pushing in (not all schools are back just yet). Id say this place is fine for children under 7-8yrs old, any older & they’d be bored in my opinion. Theres 2 rides, a 4d cinema, softplay for oder & younger ones. Multiple places for lego building. A cafe inside serving food (prices looked over the top but its a captive audience). We stayed about 2hrs, this included playing, the rides twice & watched a short film (15mins long). Would I return? Yes because my little boy liked it, but only in term time. I think weekends or school holidays would be far too busy & overcrowded.

Look out for discount tickets! - As others have said, the main issue is that this is overpriced for what it is. I paid for one of my tickets with Tesco clubcard points but without this I’d have been annoyed at paying £50 for me and my son on a weekday. The attractions inside (4D cinema, two rides and race tracks for cars) were good but it’s not a full day out and - obviously - much of it is…Lego. So if your kids are really into building things, that’s great, but for younger children there wasn’t much to keep their attention. The soft play is fine but not massive so gets busy very quickly. The VR experience is an additional cost which seems cheeky. The whole place is also underground so felt a little claustrophobic after a while without any windows. There is a small cafe inside which has a limited range of sandwiches etc and sells costa coffee. What I will say is that all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. But probably not worth the cost so look out for discounts!

Some good elements but would plan for other attractions to make your day worthwhile - Not a great amount to it, from the reviews we knew it would be small so weren’t expecting a huge variety. We had 3 children with us at 6,7 and 9 and they all enjoyed the indoor soft play which they all said was their favourite part so overpriced for a soft play but a good few hours spent. Us as grown ups appreciated the builds in the previous room and the skill it must have taken to do it but I’d say if you’re looking to spent 1.5-2hours then it’s ideal but you couldn’t make it a day or even a proper half day

Average - There's not loads to do, especially for younger children. We went during the summer holidays so it was busy and most things were a mess because of that.

Ok, fun for the kids but over priced and too overcrowded - Ok, so the positives: it’s good, lots for the kids to do, and what there is, is fun. Our 8 year enjoyed himself. Now the Negatives: too over priced for what is really there…it’s 2 rides, building a car and testing, plus 15 minute cinema film, mini land and the Lego friend section. The rest you pay extra for…building experience (£5 for kids only which we felt was reasonable and fair), VR experience (which last virtually 5 minutes…£7 per person on top of entry price is a rip off. £3-£4 per person would be more reasonable. Then there’s photos if you want to buy them. The kids activity pack was extra for £5 too which we also feel wasn’t too bad. We do think they allow too many people into the building at once. So over crowded and hard to get to activities because there is far too many people in the venue at once. Tables all full, mostly parents letting kids on soft play while they sit back so no room for others coming in to sit down and eat! Someone even left their stuff by a table so no one else could use it! There needs to be more staff patrolling across the venue to prevent this sort of behaviour. Would also expect more Lego merchandise in the shop especially as this shop is part of an attraction. Would we return…yes but not in a hurry unless pricing and number control in the venue is looked into.

Save your money for LEGOLAND Windsor - We visited the discovery centre for our son’s 6th birthday and although we had a great day we felt it was overpriced and not worth the amount paid. From reading previous reviews we knew it would be small but were still surprised by just how little there is to do. The 2 rides are ok but are over very quickly and are lacking in areas. The soft play area is good and my son enjoyed exploring this. We enjoyed making toy cars as a family and racing them down the various ramps, however trying to find bricks or tyres to make the cars in the first place proved tricky. Our son’s favourite part of the day was the 4D cinema where we watched the ninjago show, we all felt this was the highlight. Although we made sure that our son had a good birthday outing here, next time we’ll just save our money and go to LEGOLAND Windsor which offers much better value for money.

Boring - Maybe my fault but not what I expected, one room of structures and one room with a cafe fir children to build cars. Thankfully we were gifted our tickets as I would have been furious if I had paid for them. Dragged it out and managed 60 minutes. So not worth it.
