Magical experience - We all had an excellent experience, In our group we had an electronic wheelchair user, 2 adults and 2 children aged 2 &3. Wheelchair accessible throughout only issue we had was getting from the car park to the entrance as it was a cobble street, but once inside it was easy to navigate and the areas were all wheelchair friendly. The children loved seeing the fish but the penguins, sea otter, and under water tunnel were a big hit with them and us adults. I was really impressed how happy and playful the penguins and sea otter were. We spent the most time at the penguins who showed us some awesome moves in the water, playing chase with each other. I've never seen penguins in captivity look so happy. All the different viewing angles made the experience really enjoyable. We got some stunning pictures of the children and penguins. The sea otter was beautiful and agian playful coming to the viewing area and when the children touched the glass the otter touched it back definatley and awwww moment. The under water tunnel was just amazing not huge but just enough to be able to see the different species of fish, black tip sharks, rays and the most magnificent Turtle. You really felt immersed in the area with the soothing music in the background, personally I could have spent several hours in there, it just felt magical. Personally I would have loved an expert in each of the areas telling us about them and to be able to ask questions about the different species. I thought the price was in keeping with the attraction, could be easily done in an hour unless like us you absolutely love sea animals and we spent 4 hours there. A coffee shop would have been a bonus. An absolutely brilliant day was had by us all.

Fun - It is a fun and exciting place to visit when in Birmingham. Comprises a wide variety of sea life. The Otter show is the main attraction

Amazing penguin experience - Jodie and Olly were so amazing and knowledgeable. It was a great blend of learning about the penguins and getting to meet them too. Made an amazing 60th birthday present.

A good few hours out the house - Lovely day as a family of 3, little one being 3months old looking at all the fish. I purchased the tickets with a voucher code so i thought it was good value for money, but if i was to pay full price i would have been slightly disappointed. It took just over 1hr to get around, that’s taking our time.

Disappointed. Not enough to see - Disappointing as not very big and empty tanks. We did the whole place in an hour. Took our time too. It’s lovely to see all the amazing creatures but we felt there was not enough to see. So disappointed and not value for money at all. The London one is so much better. Plymouth is by far the best though. So so disappointing

Very good but short, 50 mins & eye watering cost of £100 for 4 with two kids. - How expensive is this!!! Just wow. Two seniors & two kids 4 &6, no concessions on price. £25 each, take it or leave it. One route and that's it, out on the pavement after 50 mins, having spent another £36 in the gift shop. Sea otter display, really available for about 10 of the 50 that wanted to see it. Tiny window. Rather drab (woke) commentary from a very knowledgeable guy tbh. Overall experience would be excellent if it had cost £50. World has gone mad!

Disappointed and Overpriced - I treated my husband to this day out as he loves Sea Otters. I have to say that the whole trip was disappointing. From the moment we arrived and nothing was explained to us, the only smiley person was the guy taking photos at the penguin tank. It wasn't until we were half way round that we saw a display for the feeding schedules. At zoos this is given to you on entry. We finally reached the Sea Otters, there was just the one today, and my husband did enjoy watching it swim about. After that we went through the Ocean Tunnel which was also worth seeing, but then it was out....£36 for about 40 minutes tour. That was on a deal, full price I was quoted £54!! Not brilliant suited the young children in there but for these prices they need to up their game. Scanning a QR code for more info at tanks is not ideal, passionate people talking about the exhibits would be better

Ok but wouldn’t pay full price, small venue and money grabbing - Ok. Luckily we paid £12.50 each through an offer during Black Friday. Loved seeing the penguins, turtle etc. but the venue was quite small and we were only there for an hour. Would have been very disappointed if we had paid the full £25.00 each. Annoying that the screens with information on switch between this and a page to get you to donate so you have to wait to read about each animal. Additionally, annoying that they try to take your photo around every corner but don’t make the prices clear. I’ve already paid to get in. Money grabbing.

Not worth the money. - Not worth the money you pay per ticket. Really basic aquarium. The whole thing takes less than an hour to complete. The longest part was wiring for the 1 lift that most families needed to use due to pushchairs. Would not recommend.
