Wonderful experience hiking, great guide! - I had an amazing experience to Ala Archa. My guide Daniiar was incredible. He was kind, respectful and fun. I was traveling by myself and found myself very confrontabile with him. He adjusted his pace of climbing to mine (not used to altitude) and was very supportive to ensure we got to the waterfall. I truly enjoyed my special day in the mountains of Ala Archa with Daniiar.

Beautiful hike with great tour company - The trail to waterfall is quite steep but nothing too extreme. Very nice view of the valley with beautiful mountains around. The waterfall was very beautiful already with some snow and ice in places. Our tour guide was very friendly, polite, and interesting to talk about Kyrgyzstan's people, country. We had very enjoyable time hiking in beautiful environment with very nice guide. Highly recommend this company.

Highly recommend this walking experience - Faruk was an excellent guide. He spoke excellent English and was very informative about his country. We loved the flexibility that we could choose the difficulty of the hike. I walked to the waterfall lookout point and my husband continued to the waterfall. We also walked the simple river path after that. The scenery was beautiful. Another highlight was lunching at a local restaurant. It was great to have all the food options explained to us. The road into th parked was sealed and good. It was a great walk in the outdoors and we loved it. Don't expect to see wildlife except for the odd cute red squirrel. We would highly recommend this nature walk.

Don't miss Ala Archa - Ala Archa was a perfect break from the city. We chose broken heart rock as our hike option. The hike was great exercise - it was slippery on the way down but manageable. Faruk was professional and friendly. He was so generous with his knowledge - I learnt so much ! He was also a very good driver, and gave so many helpful tips for what to do and see in Bishkek.

Brilliant, thoroughly recommend! - The tour was better than I could have imagined. Our guide Faruk was excellent - professional, polite, respectful, patient, kind, considerate and told us a lot about the culture and people of Kyrgyzstan. The hike up the mountain was challenging and extremely rewarding with magnificent views. Walking along the river was beautiful too. We were taken to an authentic restaurant for lunch where locals go and we were the only tourists. The food was excellent. I would recommend Datka Travel and Faruk to anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan.

The Perfect Day Trip from Bishkek - As someone who had already been to Ala Archa in the summer, I was curious to see the way it looked covered in snow. What an experience! It is beautiful anytime of the year, but going on a weekday in January was just perfect. The park seemed almost empty, and the landscapes were breathtaking. My guide Talgat was so warm and wanted to make sure I was comfortable throughout the day. Highly suggest Datka Travel!

Snow Ala Archa - Even with snow all around, our journey was nothing but chilled and relaxed. It was a smooth sail through the frosty beauty of Ala Archa, with our warm and witty guide faruh.

Magical Al Archa national park tour - We did Al Archa national park half day tour on 20th Nov 2023 with Datka travel in Bishkek. As it was off-peak season, there was no rush of people, and practically it felt like it was our personal park tour. The weather was cold but sunny, and the snow-filled park felt magical with mountains, trees, birds and squirrels creating multiple beautiful vistas. Our guide Farrukh was chirpy and fun. The tour ended with a sumptious tasty lunch at a famous national restaurant Faiza. A perfect trip! Thanks Datka travel!

Winter wonderland but no wildlife around at that time of year - Although I had a good time visiting the National Park, I do find this tour title a little bit "misleading" because at the time of year I visited (Winter) there is very little wildlife around at that time to make it a wildlife hike. It's mostly a walk along a river until you can't really continue, It might be different if I'd visited in Summer. My guide was good and on time, he spoke good English and we got on well. However, he did not seem very interested or have much knowledge of the local wildlife so many elements I had to read from the park signs dotted about. In theory I could have done this myself and it was a bit disappointing that I kept having to try change the subject back to the tour at hand myself. Although my review is only 3* for this tour, the Faiza restaurant lunch was good and the snacks (walnuts, almonds etc) were also tasty.
