Tokmak was the second largest industrial city in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet times, and you can see some of the Soviet monuments while driving through the city. Then you will pass through several small but picturesque villages, and you will be able to see the life of the locals outside the capital.

Amazing Burana Tower and Konorchek Canyon Trip! - Faruk made this day a wonderful time for myself and my co-travellers. He brought us to a very nice local place to eat. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the Burana Tower. He is a very kind guide!

Very good - Reccomended! The tour was very good, with breathtaking views and an easy hike to the canyon. It is winter so the snow made it even better, even if it wasn't particularly cold, so don't worry about that. The guide Farouk is very nice and prepared and speaks English very well. If you are in Bishkek for a few days, do it!

Great mix of history and nature/exercise! - I had a great time on this tour. Farukh is a fantastic guide and really knew the history and geography of the places we visited. He also cracked some great jokes and had a really fun demeanor. Burana Tower is such a cool historical site and the hike in the canyon led to some incredible views. All in all it was a great day.

A great day out! - A brilliant trip to Burana Tower and Konorchek! The tour was for the whole day and very relaxed. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly who gave ample time to explore the sights. I would definitely recommend this company and tour. Good communication and varied pick up points from hotels etc.

Great tour, would recommend - Very nice tour. Excellent guide with good English skills. Safe journey in a modern minibus. My wife and I went with two other travellers. We loved climbing up inside the Tower with beautiful views of Tien-Shan mountains. The ancient grave stones, rock drawings and ancient writings were very special.
We stopped for a snack where we were introduced to some local cuisine which was very tasty. Our hike into Konorchek Canyon was about 4 kms, It was worth the walk in.
When we got back to Bishkek we were dropped off at a location of our choice.

An enjoyable day - It's a tour worth taking, cultural bits with the tower and great scenary with the canyons Helpful and experienced guide, all in all a great day.

Nice excursion from Bishkek. - Very nice overview of the landscapes of the area. The guide was excellent and very friendly. I learned a lot about the history and customs of the country.
