Very helpful tour app - Very helpful app. The directions with the GPS were good and information about the area was insightful. We saw much more than we would have on our own. I look forward to using other Shaka apps for other locations.

self guided tour - The first stop we never really found. Best to just start at point 2 Antelope Pass Vista. The tour brought you to places you would of never thought to go without the tour. My favorite was Wahweap overlook. Beautiful overlooks.

Beautiful,But… - Beautiful area , went to watch the sunset . It was so crowded and people just posted up in the choice spots. Kids were running around… I would get up early to see sunrise instead…

Not the Best of the Grand Canyon Tours on Shaka - On our 9 day trip around the Grand Canyon, we used the Shaka Guide driving app as kind of a fill-in for information as we drove around. We had used Shaka previously on a Kauai trip, and it seemed to work pretty well, especially the fact that by tracking your car via GPS, they know where to tell you to turn and stop. The Horseshoe Bend & Page Tour was the one we liked the least of the 3 Shaka Grand Canyon tours we did. There is a lot of driving involved getting to the east end of the canyon, so you listen to a LOT of the Shaka music in between stops. All that being said, the pictures of Horseshoe that we took ended up being maybe the best pictures of the entire trip. Some of the stories and corny jokes are just filler material I'm sure, but there is some good historical information in there if you pay attention. The site specific apps are not that expensive, to it is a good way to do a tour when you're spending a lot of time in the car.

Don’t bother with this app can do on own - Had trouble with app. Requires you to download Shaka Guide app. You can do the tour without using the app.

Horrible - I did everything in the directions. I downloaded it and it still wouldn’t work. The gps wasn’t picking us up. Waste of money. I ended up mapping places I googled myself
