Great visit - We visited as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children - 5 and 8 years old). We got VIP tickets with our Merlin pass, which put us on the front row. We also got a free drink and snack each with the tickets, which was really nice. The seating was good, with plenty of leg room being on the front row. The show was really good, our kids loved it. They had a good variety of acts with some audience participation.

Worth every penny for the circus - Wow, what a difference to the ballroom. Very inclusive especially for my disabled child, the show was better than my expectations. My daughter is still talking about the clown "he was wonderful" so I would go to the circus very inclusive and very professional.

Love Mooky… - Second time to see Circus at Blackpool Tower & have to say usually not a fan of clowns 🤡 - BUT Mooky & Mr Boo were fantastic, found them funny & giving real entertainment between different acts. The Acrobat’s were amazing & this 2 hour show flew by. The only downside was I didn’t find the seats that comfortable. Highly Recommend for Mooky & Mr Boo alone…

Fabulous 👌 - Went aged 45 for my first ever visit to the circus. Husband and our teenage son and his mates were dragged along on the 8 attraction pass and all ended up really enjoying the circus and the day on a whole. Highly recommend, was crying with laughter and gasping with baited breath.. Absolutely fabulous. The acts were all amazing. Superb entertainment, can’t recommend enough. Well done guys and dolls. 👌We had a blast. Thank you. ☺️

Not as good a in the past - The actual acts were brill much better than those at gt Yarmouth this year. However the clowns act was the same as we saw back in 2016! The water act at the end was underwhelming the girls messing about in shoes while the act was performing was distracting. We are use to the water being used in gt Yarmouth. The young man selling the spinning plates was amazing with the children. Would I go again not as a couple but with grandchildren in a few years just so they hav been!

Needs a makeover - There were a couple of hire wire acts that were very good. The clown was good but most of the humour was Adult or certainly above most children. It really needs updating and injecting with some imagination. Some of the girls looked like they would rather be elsewhere. The auditorium needs a makeover too. Uncomfortable seating. We took our 3 year old Granddaughter. I dont think much of it was aimed at that age range. Other little ones around us looked very bored. Maybe it would be better to have the earlier performance aimed at little ones and the later at more older children.

Lost its sparkle - Have seen the circus a couple of times but think it's gone downhill a bit, the acts were ok but not as exciting as other years. The seats are uncomfortable and cramped. Cannot sit where you want rude staff telling us where to sit. Acts were doing mistakes not sure if they are tired or not practiced enough bit concerning with the one on the wheel thought he was going to fall off and not harnessed or wire. The act where the clown did a film was boring and wished it would hurry up. Its sort of lost its sparkle which is a shame and has put me off going again.

Good but probably wouldn't return - Overall we had an enjoyable visit with friends and our children. I'm glad we went, but if I'm honest probably wouldn't visit again. I'd visted as a child and have also been to the one in Great Yarmouth a couple of times so I was really looking forward to seeing the arena fill with water and the water acts. Was hugely disappointed as there was zero build up to this. It just suddenly started filling up while the clown was listing off birthday messages. I've previously seen the clowns incorporate the water into their act at Yarmouth. This felt very underwhelming. Also the water looked so dirty I'm assuming they can no longer do in water acts? It also felt abit strange at the end to be leaving as the performers were still sat on their stage waiting for the water to drain. The acts were good but there were so many mistakes that it started to feel uncomfortable to watch out of concern someone would be injured. I found the clowns funny, but didn't enjoy the really long birthday read out. Refreshments were reasonably priced. You have to queue an hour before opening to get a decent seat which isn't ideal as there's no prebooked seats. Comparing it to Great Yarnouth Hippodrome which is a similar indoor, old circus which fills with water I would say there's no comparison unfortunately.

Disappointing - We visit with our grandchildren every year and the circus is always on the to do list. However this year we found it boring, Mokey the clown did a bit of a sketch with members of the public, we could hardly hear him and didn’t really get the sketch. Some of the acts seemed rushed, I think this will be our last visit.

Very disappointing! - We were very disappointed with the circus. I don't like bad reviews but I have to share my thoughts that I would not recommend visiting. Living in a seaside town we have lots of travelling circus' that are amazing so we had high expectations from the tower circus. From the seating, old lame jokes, anticlimax from the start, kids age 6 and 4 wanted to leave before the first interval. I expected a lot more! It wasn't funny, the juggler repeatedly dropped the balls to the point we didn't know if this was part of his act! Very old, expected jokes. We were uncomfortable, I know the seating can't be helped but at least if show was decent it would be worth it. Right from the start the whole act needs revising and making much, much better. I wouldn't go again and don't think it's worth the money.
