• Glenbrook - The first stop is an optional visit to The Lower Blue Mountains National Park, a less-traveled area. Surrounded by lush bushland, enjoy the sounds of birds and wildlife like Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Magpies, and cicadas in summer. Experience the tranquility of the Australian Bush in the lower mountains national park, a true escape from the crowds. Consider a quick coffee stop or head to the upper mountains. Depending on your preferences, this may or may not be included. Access is via a water causeway, which may be unavailable after heavy rain. Optional town visit showcasing charming village diversity.

• Wentworth Falls - The most stunning waterfall in the mountains, a must-see in this region. Learn iPhone photography tips for long exposure waterfall shots, then walk to view the falls with an optional extension to the base. The views are breathtaking! The extent of the walk depends on your fitness level and may or may not be included for those preferring a driving tour with less walking.

Fancy a swim in warmer months? Bring swimwear for a memorable dip in the pool beneath the waterfall.

• Leura - Optional stop: This mountain village is a popular spot for village shopping and lunch. With a variety of village-style shops, immerse yourself in the local mountain atmosphere. Numerous cafes offer a great selection of gourmet foods. Although it can be busy, it’s worth a visit, allowing you to spend as much or as little time as you like. Katoomba offers a wider range for lunch and is quicker; this will be discussed on the day.
• Blue Mountains - Most of the time is spent exploring lush rainforest areas and lookouts in the Blue Mountains. Discover remote lookouts ideal for capturing with your own equipment, such as aerial drone photography and videography.
• Echo Point Lookout - Photographing the Three Sisters is a highlight of the day, timing it so they are beautifully lit in the afternoon light from the west. Although groups are hard to avoid, the best time to visit is late afternoon when most visitors have left. Saving the best for last.
• The Three Sisters - Enjoy the views of the sisters in the afternoon with stunning golden light from the west.
• Govetts Leap - If time allows, visit Govetts Leap for views of the Grose Valley. Typically less crowded, it offers a peaceful environment to enjoy the fresh mountain air and spectacular valley views.
• Katoomba - The largest township in the mountains and one of the earliest tourist regions, enjoy the town’s diversity. Numerous options for a quick lunch, a brewery stop, or a pub lunch at extra cost, or simply stroll through the eclectic shops at your own pace. Recommended for a stroll and lunch.
• Scenic World Blue Mountains - Not part of the regular itinerary, but a drop-off at Scenic World can be arranged for guests. Due to lengthy queues of over 2 hours during busy periods, this stop is not recommended.
