• Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park - Optional stop - This can be arranged before or on the day of your tour, as visiting this park in the morning on the way to the Blue Mountains is recommended. This is a wonderful opportunity to get up close with native Australian wildlife, including Kangaroos, Pademelons, Wallabies, Koalas, Dingoes, and many more. You can take your time or make it a quick visit, as the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

• Glenbrook - Our first stop is an optional visit to The Lower Blue Mountains National Park, a place few others explore. You’ll be surrounded by lush bushland and hear only the sounds of birds and wildlife, including Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Magpies, and even cicadas in the summer. Enjoy the serene sounds of the Australian Bush here in the lower mountains national park. This is a true escape from the crowds. We might consider a quick coffee here or head straight to the upper mountains. Depending on your preferences, this may or may not be included. As this venue is only accessible by crossing a water causeway, it may not be available after heavy rain. Optional town visit showcasing the diversity of charming villages.

• Wentworth Falls - This is the most breathtaking waterfall in the mountains and a must-see when visiting this region. Get photography tips using your iPhone for long exposure waterfall photography, then take a walk to view the falls with an optional extension to the bottom. These views are truly spectacular! How far we go here is up to you. Depending on your fitness level, this may or may not be included in the tour for those preferring more of a driving tour with less walking.

Fancy a swim in the warmer months? Bring your swimwear for a dip in the pool under the waterfall; it will be an unforgettable moment.

• Leura - This mountain village is a popular spot for village shopping and lunch. With a variety of village-style shops, you’ll immerse yourself in the local mountain atmosphere. There are several cafes offering a great range of quality gourmet foods. It can be busy here, but it’s well worth a visit as you can spend as much or as little time here as you like.
• Blue Mountains - We spend most of our time within the Blue Mountains exploring lush rainforest areas and lookouts. Discover remote lookouts perfect for capturing with your own equipment, such as aerial drone photography and videography.
• Echo Point Lookout - Photographing the Three Sisters is a highlight of the day, timing it so the Three Sisters are displayed at their best in the afternoon light from the west. Although it’s hard to avoid groups at this stop, the best time to visit is late afternoon when most visitors have moved on. We save the best for last.
• The Three Sisters - Enjoy the views of the sisters in the afternoon with beautiful golden light from the west.
• Govetts Leap - If time permits, we may head out to Govetts Leap for views of the Grose Valley. Typically, there are far fewer visitors here, offering a peaceful environment to enjoy the fresh mountain air while taking in the spectacular views of the valley.
• Katoomba - The largest township in the mountains and one of the earliest established tourist regions, you’ll enjoy the diversity of this town. There’s an option for a pub lunch or simply stroll through the numerous eclectic shops at your own pace.
