Our journey begins at the UNESCO-recognised Forth Rail Bridge, then we traverse into the Kingdom of Fife, briefly skimming Perth, before arriving in Dunkeld. This charming little highland village, cradled by the River Tay, imparts tales dating back to the 8th century.
A brief walk through the woodland paves way to Ossians Hall, an eccentric structure constructed by the 6th Duke of Athol, impressively set against the backdrop of the Brann Falls. As others have done for centuries, make a tribute to the Green Man for a safe exit through these primeval woods.
Next in line is Blair Athol castle & gardens, drenched in Jacobite lore, and steeped in royal history, having been visited by Mary Queen of Scots & being a favourite of Queen Victoria. This striking Castle presents a delightful opportunity for lunch and a venture into the woodland.
From here, we move onto the Queenās view, a locale highly favoured by Queens over the centuries, which imparts a sensational vista.
Finally, a tour of the Edradour Distillery awaits! Famous globally as the tiniest traditional distillery in Scotland and the final bastion of handcrafted Whisky.
