This full-day tour will start in the heart of the Alps, where we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. This full-day tour will start in the heart of the Alps, where we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green lake, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake using the traditional Pletna boat. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake. The road will then lead us to the Postojna cave, where we will observe one of the most famous karst caves in the world. While riding on the cave train, everyone will be fascinated by the cave’s might and its karst phenomena. We will continue our trip and reach the unique and largest cave castle in the world - the Predjama Castle, which has been dominating perched high up in the cliff for 800 years.

Three day trips in one day with an amazing guide! - We just don't do tours but this opportunity to squeeze the caves, the castle and Lake Bled into our trip to Ljubljana was too good to miss.
The minibus arrived on time and immediately Thomas the driver/guide was cheery and very informative. We shared the journey with a Canadian, a Colombian, a Spanish couple and a Maltese couple and Thomas kept us all distracted on the route to the sites with his absorbing conversation about Slovenian life and the history of the country and background information about the caves, the castle and Lake Bled. He was very engaging and is the perfect guide with a passion for his country. It was like listening to a fascinating podcast as he took us on our journey.
We had plenty of time at Postojna Caves to do the full experience. We had enough time at the castle too before heading across to Lake Bled for the chilled boat ride to the island. We had been worried about being stuck in a vehicle and not being in control of our own trip but Thomas made it feel like a family day out and we had the freedom to experience each part of the tour on our own before meeting up for the next leg of the trip.
This is a fantastic tour and you will not be disappointed

If you want to have a private and smaller group experience, this is the best option!! - I chose and loved this option better than the other ones because this one is a smaller van (smaller group) and they pick you up at your hotel and drop you off whatever you want (the other tour, you have to meet where they tell you).
Our driver Daniel, was spectacular, very professional, well-spoken English, very knowledgeable, very nice to be around, he was on time for pick up, if we wanted to stop somewhere to see something, he would do it. He explained very well the ins and outs of the excursions, what to bring, what to expect, if you need cash vs card (for the boats in Lake Bled, they only take cash), he stopped at an ATM for us. Our first part of the excursion there were only 3 of us, he took us to lake bled first because he knows it gets busy, when we got there, we had the castle by ourselves, it felt like a literary private excursion.
Overall, very very pleasant experience not only for the beauty of slovenia, but the service made it even better. I’ll recommend this option specially if you have kids, you want a smaller group and if you rather get picket up rather than meet up somewhere.

Wonderful experience - super friendly and kind! - Booked through Viator. We’re a group of 5 and we wanted a private experience, so we booked and paid for all 8 spots. Pre-trip communications were smooth and they replied very quickly (within a few hours even with the time zone differences).
Nejc arrived early at our hotel with a big smile. He was super helpful and recommended some changes to the order of our stops, as it was pouring heavily near Lake Bled in the morning. He took great care of my elderly parents and was super friendly! I wish our trip was a bit longer so I could spend a few more days exploring this beautiful country with Nejc.

Memories for a lifetime ❤️ - I had the best experience! Nate was the best guide. He was incredibly considerate, informative and entertaining! Nate is very proud of the city and makes sure you and your friends get the most out of the experience. Great Trip - It’s a wonderful trip & our guide Nate was full of knowledge & enthusiasm. Best part was that we had a group of five Brazilian ladies who had trouble in understanding English but the guide managed to explain details to them using Google translator. Kudos. Well done, Nate.
This trip has remarkable scenery at Lake Bled & the Caves trip is out of this world- not to be missed.
Keep urselves warm for caves trip with a good pair of walking shoes. Temperature dips to below 10 deg Celsius & walking is for about an hour or so & route is wet.

Castles, caves and scenery. - Driver, Nate, and tour director was amazing and helpful. Gave us time to see and do everything. We visited a castle in the rocks, Lake Bled was gorgeous as was the famous cream cake, and the caves so impressive along with the train ride.
