Absolutely fascinating place, highly recommended. Much better (and cheaper) than the bletchley park museum - Fascinating exhibits, knowledgeable friendly helpful staff, and of course Colossus! Spent loads of time having fascinating conversations with the staff about many topics. Unlike the bletchley park museum it has actual working cipher and codebreaking machines that you can interact with. And the mainframes, supercomputers and even home computers were super fun to play with. Highly, highly recommended.

Great talks explaining how things worked! - I brought my nephew who is studying computer science so it was right up their street. We hadn't booked enough time for everything, but the talks on the Bombe machine and the Colossus were very gripping and brought the equipment and the times to life.

Real tihing - This is the real thing. Most of the exhibits are real originals or working replicas. I was able to see the beginning of todays computer based world and that was incredible to see what humans have created. There is not much of fancy museum-like interactivity but more of real electronics and mathematics behind it. Good to visit after Bletchley Park.

Day well spent. - Very interesting and informative. The importance of the work done at Blechley can never be underestimated. The displays were spot on and some were interactive.

Hidden Gem - We booked this by accident instead of Bletchley Park and from the outside it looked rough to say the best. But inside it's a beautiful place full of these enormous working machines , passionate staff and video game consoles for little ones. Full of very hands-on experiences and I can't recommend it enough.

Great museum but expensive for a day visit - What a great visit. All the exhibits were clearly marked and explained. We only had a half day there so did not sign up for the guided tour. Instead we each took one of the free head sets and enjoyed the background information and stories. To fully appreciate it, you would need almost a full day. The only complaint is that they do not sell day tickets. We are both seniors and had traveled specifically to visit the museum, but had to buy 2 seniors annual passes, even though we were on a holiday road trip and would not be back that direction again.

Worth the while. - We've seen the computer museum and listened to some very interesting presentations. Be aware that the computer museum and the old part with the historical barracks are two independent sites, each with its own tickets.

The ticket isn't for Bletchley Park, just 1 bit of it - Be aware that this is NOT for Bletchley Park itself, JUST the Computing Museum. The museum itself is quite interesting ( there is a selection of computer games to entertain small children who may otherwise be somewhat bored) and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

A busy day out! - As a computer operator and then programmer in the 1960s I was a little disappointed that there were not more of the older machines. However, Collossus and the Bombe replica were fascinating. Furthermore, I visited the Computer museum after a day at Bletchley Park and would suggest that there was not enough time for both!

CAREFUL, this is NOT Bletchley Park entry ticket, but separate museum - Unfortunately, I thought this day entry ticket was entry into Bletchley Park, as this exhibit was stated as being in Bletchley Park. That was not the case, this is a separate venue, within walking distance, but distinct. My primary interest was Bletchley park, so ended up buying tickets onsite, and by the time we finished there, it was too late to tour this museum. I was very disappointed, and obviously wasted my money, as it was too late to cancel. I would have liked to see this museum, as it does seem very interesting, but we didn't have time to go back another day.
