Trip Advisor rip-off. Buy ticket direct! - The museum is fantastic, but could be difficult for less maths savvy visitors. TripAdvisor ticket cost £21 but a ticket direct from the museum (also available on line) would only have cost £17.50. Certainly not a discount and not a ticket to Bletchly park as one might think. Infuriating!

Wonderful exhibits and staff alike - I took my daughter who is studying A Level Computer Science. You have a wonderful resource of computers but just as important are the volunteers, we greatly enjoyed the time and enthusiasm shared by Chris in the first-generation computer area but all staff were great.
Appreciated the opportunity to be hands on with some of the consumer focused products.

Excellent day out. - We'd been looking forward to visiting Bletchley for a while and we weren't disappointed. The visit was extremely informative and helped tell this vital wartime story, bringing to life the characters, the challenges they faced and the service they gave for their country. All the staff at the venue were excellent, very helpful and courteous.
The exhibits and the information boards were fantastic and really explained the technical challenges and the solutions in an easy to understand and informative way. Would really recommend a visit to Bletchley.

Well worth the money - Absolutely loved it, I am not an IT geek but the way in which exhibits were talked about by the guides was very informative, as a child of the 70's / 80's the PC and Gaming consoles brought back memories. We were very fortunate to get a private guided tour of Colosus and the full story of its creation etc. Thanks Pete. The museum is having works done but this didn't detract from the interest factor. It is well priced and sells good coffee. Only thing you need to be aware of is access is via Bletchley Park car park DO NOT use the Postcode as you end up in a housing estate.

A Pleasant Surprise - Whilst I imagined a booking to Bletchley Park as TripAdvisor bobbed up for tickets directly below the official site, and was suitably unimpressed when turned away from same(read pissed off TripAdvisor- relocate your ad for the Computer Museum), this experience was absolutely top notch courtesy of the staff, both from understanding my aggrevation(thanks for the free cappucino Lily), but more relevant was the staff's knowledge of the decoding machines used at Bletchley Park, and their ability to explain their workings. The other upside over Bletchley Park is you can see the devices in a working state, having been rebuilt to operate as they did formerly. Great experience by default. Funny how life works at times. Absolutely fascinating place, highly recommended. Much better (and cheaper) than the bletchley park museum - Fascinating exhibits, knowledgeable friendly helpful staff, and of course Colossus! Spent loads of time having fascinating conversations with the staff about many topics. Unlike the bletchley park museum it has actual working cipher and codebreaking machines that you can interact with. And the mainframes, supercomputers and even home computers were super fun to play with.
Highly, highly recommended.

Great talks explaining how things worked! - I brought my nephew who is studying computer science so it was right up their street. We hadn't booked enough time for everything, but the talks on the Bombe machine and the Colossus were very gripping and brought the equipment and the times to life.

Great collection - The staff are great, the exhibits well laid out with a really good range from old calculators to the ICL main frame.
Make no mistake this is a great place and we'll either a visit, but you will get more out of the visit if you already have some idea about the history.
Please note this is mainly the history of Computing in Britain, which is fine by me ;-)
The only disappointing part for me was I was hoping to see more in the DEC area.

The ticket isn't for Bletchley Park, just 1 bit of it - Be aware that this is NOT for Bletchley Park itself, JUST the Computing Museum. The museum itself is quite interesting ( there is a selection of computer games to entertain small children who may otherwise be somewhat bored) and the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

CAREFUL, this is NOT Bletchley Park entry ticket, but separate museum - Unfortunately, I thought this day entry ticket was entry into Bletchley Park, as this exhibit was stated as being in Bletchley Park. That was not the case, this is a separate venue, within walking distance, but distinct. My primary interest was Bletchley park, so ended up buying tickets onsite, and by the time we finished there, it was too late to tour this museum. I was very disappointed, and obviously wasted my money, as it was too late to cancel. I would have liked to see this museum, as it does seem very interesting, but we didn't have time to go back another day.
