In this captivating 6-day journey, you’ll experience the famous Golden Circle route with its spectacular locations. This includes the unparalleled Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park. Following this, your adventure will take you to the highly-praised South Coast to discover the one-of-a-kind black sand beach, Reynisfjara and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. After a trip to the Eastfjords, you’ll visit the picturesque Lake Mývatn with its remarkable surrounding scenery, including the Dimmuborgir lava pillars. You’ll continue your exploration to Akureyri, the northern capital, and then return to the southern capital.

As you partake in this multifaceted expedition, you’ll have the opportunity to include additional activities and tours along your journey to enhance your experience, such as snorkeling, horse riding or hiking. Amazing experience - I did the winter ring road tour with John as our guide in September 2024. It 100% lived up to expectations and delivered even more. The extra stops, bonus experiences and cool details and stories added in by our guide made the trip so special and valuable. What’s more, I was with a great mix of age groups and nationalities which was a lot of fun :) The accommodations are mostly great, with few exceptions, and included breakfasts are well catered. Northern lights, glacier hikes, ice caving, lava fields, waterfalls for days and incomparable scenery like only Iceland can deliver. Highly recommend Troll for your Iceland adventures!

Beautiful trip with a great guide. - Amazing trip with an amazing host. Eric was our guide and he showed us many local sites off the normal tourist routes along with the famous sites. This was our first group tour, and we loved it. It was great not having to plan everything and being driven around in a comfortable van (with wifi).

6 Day Tour With John - Had a GREAT time! - I took my first solo trip to Iceland and went on the 6 Day Small Group Tour with John. John was AWESOME - he really brought the group together, was extremely knowledgeable about each area and made extra stops along the way that were his favorite places that no one else knows about. Would 100% recommend this tour with John for solo/family/friend travels.

Amazing tour of this magical island! - Just an amazing trip filled with beautiful sightseeing, history and culture. Our guide was Johann and he was the best tour guide I have ever experienced! He was so friendly, kind and attentive that we felt like we were amongst friends the whole time. He managed all of our adventures with ease and made this bucket list trip memorable. We’re so grateful to have had Johann as our guide to this magical land. We did the full ring road which was filled with beautiful waterfalls, amazing landscapes, geothermal sites, ice caving, glacier hikes and much more. We enjoyed the accommodations provided each night and the tour bus was extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated having wifi while on the road. Troll tours is definitely a five star operation! Highly recommend!

Iceland Adventure: Six Days of Unforgettable Scenery and Friendship - This trip to Iceland was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this journey and our guide, Jóhann. Our guide Jóhann was excellent and very responsible. Throughout the trip, he shared many stories about Iceland and showed us a lot of beautiful scenery. He even took us to pick some delicious blueberries, which I really enjoyed. During the trip, I saw the Milky Way, the Northern Lights, waterfalls, glaciers, and more—these stunning sights left a deep impression on me. I also made friends with travelers from different countries. These six days were short but wonderful.

Iceland was amazing, and Siggi was a great ambassador - Iceland was amazing, and Troll's 6-day minibus tour lead by the effervescent Siggi made sure we had the best possible experience. He's like a viking come to life! He's joyful, kind, and passionate. The world's biggest Celine Dion fan! A great driver also. At no point did we feel rushed, and Siggi even managed to find an extra pair of hiking boots when my wife unexpectedly found her Blundstones falling apart. We saw so many wonderful Icelandic sites: glaciers, waterfalls, lava fields, geysers, ram sorting (!), ice caves, icebergs, icelandic horses, black sand beaches, rugged coastlines, lighthouses, geothermal sites, the world's loneliest shower, whales, and amazing views of the Milky Way. We ended up doing the optional Vök baths in part because of Siggi's enthusiasm for them ("By the end of the night you'll be medium rare!") and we're so glad we did. Also really enjoyed the lobster pizza at Ósinn Restaurant in Höfn, another Siggi recommendation. We did not end up seeing the Northern Lights, but could have: Siggi made a point of pointing out where on our tour we were likely to see them, and on one night when he discovered they were occurring, he notified us via our group chat (it was ~11:30pm and my wife and I had already fallen asleep, but some of our bus-mates were still awake and saw them). Would definitely come back, and would seek out Siggi if we did!

The best way to see Iceland! - An Iceland must do! Our guide John is great - he ensured we saw as much as possible, including additional sights and stops off the beaten track. Katla ice caves were a personal highlight for me, our guide for this excursion, Stefan, was also amazing.

Wonderful journey in Iceland - It was amazing journey for us thanks to our tour guide John and everyone! We experienced a lot of impressive things, ice cave, glacier hike, puffins, whale watching and beautiful foss and nature. John’s guide makes Iceland more familiar with us. Iceland became one of the best countries I have ever been to!

Great tour - John our guide cum driver is an amazing and knowledgeable person with penchant for taking pain to make the trip enjoyable for the travellers. Great tour and good experience. When booking the tour shows involving low physical activity and easy terrains but the glacier and ice caves need a lot of physical activity and effort. My wife had a knee problem and it was difficult.
