Excellent trip through the Golden Circle with some amazing snorkelling! - We did the Golden Circle Tour and Silfra Snorkeling excursion with Troll in November 2024. I was an excellent experience, with the snorkelling being the main reason wwe chose this trip. I would definitely recommend this day trip as it also took in the Geysers, and some other natural feature stops along the way. The Snorkelling at Silfra was amazing. The coldest part was standing in the wind whilst getting into the kit and waiting for the experience to start! The kit/equipment was great and kept us all warm, except for the exposed parts like the lower part of your face. Hands/fingers also got a bit chilly in the gloves, but it didn't really affect the swimming or the excellent views. The hot chocolate and chocolate bar at the end was great to help us warm back up again! Some photos below, but a great experience all round!

Absolutely Epic! - If there was something I never thought I would do it would be snorkelling in Iceland in January, but this was absolutely epic! The suits kept us really warm and dry and Vero was an amazing guide. It was just beautiful, truly a once in a lifetime experience. The rest of the tour was also epic, Juliana was our guide and she was so friendly, took us to additional places (like for ice cream at an Icelandic farm and to see some Icelandic horses) and she had so much information along the way. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly!

Can't Miss This - A must do activity when in Iceland. We were on family vacation and this was a bucket list for all of us. The guides are great, they work together to get everyone ready for the snorkel experience but then you have a single guide that ultimately works you through all the needed gear and instructions that you need for the visit. Your gear is stored and kept dry in personal bags and bins. We had Kevin and he was awesome. He stayed with us, took pictures, educated us before we went in the water and then talked us though all the spots of interest as we were in the water. The guides and process were very seamless. I would recommend this for anyone visiting. It sounds cool and was even better to have said we did it.

Must do when visiting Iceland. - Amazing, amazing, amazing time. Even in the freezing cold of December, it was such an experience. I would recommend this to everyone who is visiting Iceland. Our guide Kevin was amazing. Very patient with providing all instructions and getting the group of snorkelers in gear. You forget you are in water when you are swimming across the Silfra.

Unbelievable experience - This was an all-day tour that left me awed. The snorkel experience was otherworldly - cold but so worth it, incredible visibility. Vero was a great snorkel guide! I’m not even sure I could have gotten into the dry suit without Vero, let alone taken pictures. After snorkeling (which took the first half of the day, including travel time and gear), we visited the geyser and a massive frozen waterfall. I was glad to be fully bundled up because it was dang cold with the wind and the snow - except on the bus, where everyone napped in between places and stories from the bus driver about local culture and Icelandic history.

Once in a lifetime experience - This was an amazing experience! They came and picked me up right at my hotel and took us all to snorkeling first. You will be freezing but it is completely worth it! Lilian our snorkeling guide was so patient and made sure everyone stayed together and was having fun! For my fellow travelers with braids or locs you will probably be a little more uncomfortable in the wetsuit but it is manageable but don’t get too big of braids and you should be fine. The next stops in the golden circle was breathtaking. It snowed so we got to see the golden circle covered in snow and it was soo pretty. Definitely Instagram worthy photos available at each stop. Our driver was so dope and really patient with us all and let us have a little more extra time to look around and take everything in. 100% would recommend

Snorkeling in Iceland - I loved the trip with the guide Juliana. She was very attentive and told very exclusive stories. I felt safe and we saw landscapes that I never imagined in my life. I especially liked snorkeling in the ice water. I recommend it to anyone who wants to do something adventurous and special.
