From there we give you all the necessary gear required to participate in the snowmobiling activity. Then we give a short introduction on how to operate the snowmobiles and safety issues you need to be aware of.
Then we go out snowmobiling to the glacier for one hour. We stop for photos and to enjoy the view once during the trip.
After that, we take you back to the meeting point.
Best to be there 15-20 minutes before the departure time.

This 4-hour snowmobile journey takes you through the distinct landscapes of the Icelandic Highlands. It begins at Gullfoss and allows you to experience the unique Icelandic vistas on your drive to the glacier in a 4x4 monster truck. Following a short instructional briefing, you’ll mount your snowmobile and traverse the length and breadth of Langjökull glacier. This excursion is an excellent addition for self-guided travellers exploring the Golden Circle and seeking to enrich their expedition.
- Dress accordingly to weather conditions.
- Age limit is 6 years and older.
- Please note the price is per person and there are 2 passengers per snowmobile.
- Please Note: There must be 1 adult per child or teenager in order to be able to join our tour.

Top Notch Fun!! - What a ride!! This was the start to our Golden Circle Day and it did not disappoint! Driver took us onto the Glacier with great care and the team at the site were 100% pros! They had us kitted out and ready to go in less than 20 minutes tops! It was great fun and the BEST way to experience the Glacier!!

Trip of a lifetime - Stunning trip and very well organized and run. We drove in driving snow and wind but it was an experience of a lifetime. Beautiful sleds but the guide forgot to tell us the handle bars were heated. Froze my fingers off. Better to bring your own ski gloves.

Perfect 👌 - Exactly what it says on the packet.
We were meet promptly at the meeting point, bundled onto a crazy bus with Snipper our driver, who whisked us slowly up the mountain to base camp.
Nico our instructor and the crew on the ground were exceptional, everyone knew what they were doing to get you kitted up and out the door.
The snow mobiling was great, although a little slow ( to keep everyone safe) we had one in the group come off, obviously didn’t listen to instructions!
All in all, a very good experience.

Memories to last a lifetime - This was an amazing experience! On time, safe, and a lot of fun! We had a good group, and everyone kept up with the pace and it was great sliding across the snow with the wind hitting our faces! We had a great stop at the midway point, took some memorable photos, and on the way back, it started snowing, which made it even more spectacular! Do not miss this. A quintessential Iceland experience!

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, but the groups are large and the pace is somewhat set by the slowest, we ended up waiting around quite a bit for people that had tipped over!

"Not What it Said on the Packet ! " - The Cenery is stunning and my partner loved the monster truck that took us up , However, we DID NOT get to go on the Glacier as apparently this only happens in the summer even tho this was how they worded it , which was a great disappointment. There were about 20 + Skiddos on out trip which did a series of Snaking curves across about 1/2 a mile of a snowfield , we then stoped for photos . Once I could get the attention of one of the Guids off of his phone I asked him to point out the Glacier, but there was no info about the area or the Glacier which was also dissapointing, the staff were completly indifferent ( except the girls in the Area where you got changed who were more friendly ). Then back on the Skiddos and a 15 min ride with less snaking back to base . If you want to say you have been on a snowmobile then it's probably OK but IF you want to see a Glacier close up there are probably much better trips in Iceland !
