Theresa and team were amazing - I was a bit nervous about the snorkelling tour but Theresa and team were super attentive and reassured me the entire time. The team helped us with wearing and removing of all the gear, which was quite a challenge. Theresa was a great tour guide, keeping an eye on everyone, making us comfortable and making us laugh! I loved being called her little otters :D

Ahhhmazing experience! - We Loved It!!! Parking and Meeting Location: They send you instructions on how to do this. Pretty easy to follow. Staff: We checked in with one of the staff members and was instructed where to stand/hang out. They’re very busy so be patient. Roll call, waiver signing, etc. Getting suited up: Wearing thermals and wool socks will greatly improve your experience especially if you get cold easily. I struggled with this a bit. I don’t have claustrophobia, so I think but the snug feeling to keep the water out was tiiight. If you have claustrophobia and cannot overcome it, you might have difficulty. The suits fit me big, these are one a size fits all so you are given what fits best with your body size. You do get a waterproof bag that you can put your stuff in. I used a joto waterproof holder to put my keys in and wore it around my neck under my thermals. Instructions/Waiting to Get in the Water/Snorkelling/Pictures: our guide was Francesca. She was friendly, helpful not just to us but to other staff members. I could tell she truly enjoyed her job. Her enthusiasm is infectious. Overall: we enjoyed our experience. There was so much excitement and anxiety going through me that I had to tell myself to enjoy this moment. Truly a wonderful experience.

Amazing experience. - We had an amazing trip with Wilmar. He was an excellent guide, knew all there was to know about the area and the geology, and made us laugh as well! Wilmar was an excellent guide, and made our experience amazing! The water is beautiful and clear, and the dry suit keeps you perfectly warm. Definitely recommend.

Great experience, just do it! - Great experience!! My best friend and I felt very safe and we had a good time too! The instructions were emailed in advanced and had very clear instructions. Paying for parking was easy. We were always moving and we never felt like we had to wait long. Our guides, Daniel and Pedro, were entertaining and provided good instructions. I had an issue putting in my snorkel and my guide, Daniel assisted me and I was able to have a great snorkel! We were able to look at our pictures afterwards and share with our families

Amazing experience - This has got to be a real highlight of our trip. Lovely small group led by Fede. Very well organised from the suiting up, to safety briefing, water entry and throughout the whole experience. The clarity of the water is incredible and yiu are totally dry in the suits provided. Being on my own wasn't an issue, there was one other solo and a lovely family of 4. Very friendly group.Highly recommend this, where else would you get such an experience. Great to get the photos too.

Experience of a lifetime - Overall incredible experience! Francesca is the most kind, energetic, and positive guide! Her passion for diving is so clear in how she led the tour. It was refreshing to see how all of the guides are there to help and make the experience a lot of fun! If you are worried about snorkeling, they gave an option of only going part of the way and having a guide swim you back. In all honesty, the swimming and snorkeling was not too difficult though. The current brings you out then you swim a little bit up the current which gave about 45 minutes of in-water time. The dry suits kept us completely dry so we didn’t even use our change of clothes we brought. I highly recommend this tour! It was so worth it! Thanks again Francesca (and also Yannis of course)!

Never got pictures - The tour was great despite very cold and wet. 2 complaints are wait time to get in the water with so many groups and I emailed the company since my 1330 tour with Chris on 9/16/24 didn’t upload all the photos and unfortunately my friend and I don’t have any pictures in the water which is a bummer

Silfra was beautiful but Arctic Adventures was Terrible - This trip was a disaster. We were up North and skipped some other things we wanted to do in order to get to Silfra in time. We got there a little early and waited in the picnic area. We listened in as some of the other guides provided information on the area and talked about the parliament etc. It was very interesting and they seemed to be taking a lot of time to give participants a lot of information. We went back to the van and started to get our snorkel gear on. My daughter couldn't get the boots of her dry suit on so I asked the guide to come over. My daughter told her the boots were too small. The guide bent down and shoved my daughter’s feet into the boots. My daughter said they were way too tight and the guide said they were supposed to be tight. Then the guide got the group together to go over the dive. It was very brief and didn't go through the other information that the guides from the other companies did. After that we started walking over to the dive platform. My daughter is normally a very fast walker but she was at the back of the group. After a short distance she stopped and told me that she was already getting blisters from the tight boots. I called the guide back and she looked at the boots and she said something about there not being suits with larger boots available (My daughter is tall but not a giant: 5’ 9” and size 10 foot). This was totally ridiculous as my feet are much smaller than my daughter's but my boots were much larger than hers. It was clearly too late to change the dry suit so we kept going. The guide was getting increasingly irritated with us and not at all helpful. We got in the water and soon after we got started my daughter said the blisters were getting worse but she kept going. When we got towards the area with all the blue rocks you always in in pictures online, my daughter started struggling and panicking. She said she couldn't kick any more and was getting dragged by the current. I waved my arms to get the guide’s attention. Eventually she came over and had to pull my daughter to the platform. My daughter got out and I followed. We obviously had to cut the trip short and couldn't see the blue part of the lagoon. We started walking back to the van. The guide passed us with the rest of the group but didn't check to see how my daughter was doing. We got out of our suits and I brought the car back to pick up my daughter because she couldn't put her shoes on. I asked the company for a refund. They gave me a long list of excuses for the poor experience and sub-par service and offered a 10% discount on our next trip with them. Ha!
