Highlights
  • Blue Bay - Your full-day excursion to Ile Aux Cerf from Blue Bay begins with a complimentary hotel pick-up from your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide, and after boarding your comfortable vehicle, you’ll set off to Blue Bay, a village located in the East of Mauritius.

This speed boat cruise is all about ensuring you and your guests, friends, family, or partners have a fantastic day as part of your holiday in Mauritius, enjoying the best sea trip.

  • Blue Bay Marine Park - You’ll head to Blue-Bay Marine Park for snorkeling. Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. Sit in your boat and depart for the reefs while feeling the cool day breeze brushing against your skin. Take in the beauty of the surroundings while gazing at the underwater world while snorkeling. You will then stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs.

At an average depth of 5.5 meters, with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkeling conditions are ideal. You will have a great view of the reef, fish, and a large selection of corals (there are more than 50 different species of corals at the park!).

The Blue Bay Marine Park is home to mangroves, algae, sea grasses, corals, and other marine organisms. There is also a wide variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish.

  • Pointe d’Esny - Our first stop will be at the shipwreck of Alblair on the coral reef of Pointe d’Esny.

Here since 1902, it has a controversial history that you will discover during our trip! The story of the Dalblair is another unfortunate shipwreck that occurred in 1902.

  • Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve - Following the visit to the shipwreck, you’ll head to Ile Aux Aigrette Island, where you will enjoy a cocktail and have the chance to swim in the crystal clear lagoon of Ile Aux Aigrettes. You will enjoy a natural swimming pool with plenty of starfish.
  • Ile du Phare - Afterwards, we will bring you to visit the lighthouse Island – Ile aux Phare, where you will have time to visit the ancient lighthouse ruin or time to walk around the island.

L’Île aux Fouquets, also known as L’île aux Phare (Phare Island), is a small rocky island in the Grand Port Bay. The Island was significant during the Battle of Grand Port, between the French and the British. Its lighthouse, which was built in 1864 to guide ships to the port of Mahebourg, has defied centuries and still stands with all its majesty.

  • ÃŽle de la Passe - Ile de la Passe is a small but very significant islet off the southeast coast of Mauritius. During the colonial era, the islet was a key factor in the defense of Mauritius where the French and British inhabitants built defenses on Ile de la Passe. Today, the ruins of these defenses, dating back two and a half centuries, are still present.

An ideal site for a fascinating day trip, Ile de la Passe offers stunning views of the mainland and the turquoise sea as well as historic ruins of the defenses which will give you an insight into the battles that took place there, including the legendary Battle of Vieux Grand Port which is commemorated by an inscription on the Arc De Triomphe in Paris.

You can spend a pleasant day walking through the ruins of the ancient French defense and awing at them.

  • ÃŽlot Vacoas - While cruising, we will pass by the Ilot Vacoas.
  • ÃŽlot Flamants - Once embarked, you will head to Ile aux Flamands, a small island of white sand in the middle of the crystal clear lagoon. You will spend about 30 magical minutes here.
After a snorkeling session in the turquoise waters of the lagoon, you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs.
  • Grand River South East Waterfalls - As part of your cruise, you will also get to visit the Grand River South-East Waterfalls. The GRSE waterfall is an exceptional place where land and sea merge. The speed boat will sail along the waterfalls’ canal for a beautiful view of the Grand River South East Waterfalls. The wild flora surrounding the fabulous waterfall is amazing and is colonized with monkeys jumping and playing on the trees just beside the waterfalls as they are used to human presence.

If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall.

  • Ile Aux Cerfs - The main highlight of this high-speed cruise is a visit to the famed Ile aux Cerfs island. As you approach the Ile aux Cerfs Island by speed boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. There, you will have free time to spend on the beach, go for a stroll, swim in the lagoon, snorkel, relax on the beach and enjoy one of the water sports activities offered on the island (at an additional cost).
  • Ile Aux Cerfs - At around Noon, you will get to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch. The lunch menu usually consists of Chicken BBQ and Fish BBQ along with other sides and salads including garlic bread. In case you are a vegetarian, please inform us in advance and we will be glad to arrange a BBQ veg lunch for you to enjoy. During lunch, you will be able to enjoy a complimentary selection of drinks including both non-alcoholic drinks and alcoholic drinks.

While having your lunch, you will enjoy the traditional sega dance, live music, and entertainment. There will be an open bar where you can enjoy a wide selection of unlimited drinks. The crew will prepare the famous banane flambe dessert for you.

  • Blue Bay - Towards the end of the afternoon, it’s time for a thrilling coastal cruise back to the mainland. The whole trip is done in a warm and friendly Mauritian atmosphere! It is an ideal boat trip for anyone looking for a fun and exciting cruising experience at high speed! You are expected to return to the mainland at 16.30 P.M.

5 Islands Trip with plenty of surprises! - Fantastic day on Aqua Love with a wonderful Captain! We saw all the 5 islands, and the waterfall. Our captain took us searching for dolphins, sea turtles and monkeys and did not disappoint. We stopped at the nature reserve for a morning ‘coffee’ and then continued on to an island for a BBQ. Could not recommend this day more!

A must do Trip - If you fancy skimming across the sea in a speedboat at high speed on occasions and seeing many of the Islands points of interest in one day, you must go on this trip. Mr Kevin, our Guide, was knowledgeable, funny and showed us lots of things. The trip included seeing various historic buildings, amazing snorkelling in the blue bay, getting up close to the cheeky monkeys (Kevin bought bananas for us to hand feed them) , getting really close to the waterfall. We were even lucky enough to see the dolphins. The final stop on our tour was a bbq lunch on a remote island, which was delicious and plentiful. The only tip I would give is, when you arrive, if you need a wee go in the sea between your boat and the island as the ‘toilets’ are the bushes, there are no amenities. This is a small island where they have set up a bbq area, with a few tables and chairs, but hey it was a beautiful setting and must be a boost to the economy. The whole day was an exciting experience and thoroughly recommend it.

5 islands tour - Excellent day. Pick up by Mangesh was flawless. Great visit to all 5 islands. Superb lunch on the beach. Lots of swimming and snorkelling. And then Mangesh was waiting to take us back to the hotel. Ice cold beers in the sea was perfect.

Absolutely amazing! Spend the money.... It's worth it. - I had been recommended this trip before I arrived by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Our ground handlers Coquille Bonheur are aged this trip for us by speedboat incl drinks and BBQ lunch. WOW. When we booked it was £385 for both of us and initially I thought that's so expensive and almost cancelled it. But I'm so glad I didn't. We had a driver collect us from our hotel in the south and drive us to the port nr Preskil (around 1hr) our driver was also like a guide and explained about different things to see and passed by things to show us. It was brilliant. He waited for us all day to return us back after the trip. We were dropped at the side of the boat, helped on to the boat and welcomed immediately. Our boat trip was operated by One Love. Honestly the guys on board were outstanding. We were the only English couple but we were not left out. The boat was not crowded either. It was a large speedboat with only 12guests & 2 crew members. Drinks flowed freely throughout, music was played, everything explained clearly and we had a great time. We went to the 5islands, this included snorkeling stop and we saw dolphins, monkeys and tropical fish. The BBQ at Ile Aux Cerf was excellent, we were the only couple in the group that were served the lobster though... So that must have been a part of the package we paid for. The food was excellent and well cooked. A couple of the One Love colleagues played some music and the drinks flowed, plenty of beer, wine and rum. (soft drinks if you wanted them also incl Coca-Cola and Sprite, water etc) definitely worth it. Every penny! If you do nothing else in Mauritius... Do this.

An incredible Day Out - We booked on TripAdvisor the day before our tour as we weren't sure what we were actually going to do during our holiday trip. It was the best decision we made and such an incredible experience. We were contacted by our tour guide Mevin , a very friendly humble guide who communicated with us via WhatsApp in English which was greatly appreciated, we were picked up on Time from our hotel lobby and taken to the Speed boat, Mevin made certain we were taken care of , he ensured we had the correct tickets and got onto the correct tours as there were many boats leaving at the same time, Via our journey he also gave us insights on the country and tourist tips. Our speed boat Captain was Billy Joel , he was very entertaining and kept us laughing throughout our trip. The tour included snorkeling and swimming in different locations, Dolphin watching, Wild Monkey's and indigenous Bats , A water fall river tour, old Light house , an old port location, a 3 course Lunch on the beach and tour of lIe Aux Cerfs a popular Catamaran location. A Fabulous day out.

Great day out - The pick up was on time, and our lady driver was very informative on the hour long journey. The day was great! Had great scenic routes, both the boat driver & his team mate were helpful, patient & informative. Food on the island stop was excellent, and there was plenty of it. Only wished we could have stopped at a nice beach area for sometime to swim, as I didn’t snorkel & that was the only time we had ti actually swim. Best part was seeing the unexpected dolphins! AMAZING. Would recommend doing this tour just to have a day out at see.

Speedboat adventure - First things first: the hotel pick-up and drive back, handled by freshverde holidays, worked perfectly. Our driver, Ashish, communicated with us via WhatsApp prior to the pickup, was super helpful, provided us with local tips and tricks and even thought ahead and put a towel on our seats for the way back, knowing we would have gone snorkeling during the boat trip. 5/5 stars! The boat trip itself seems to be handled by a different company: Aquasail. There were some things that could be improved upon such as communication with English speaking clients. Nonetheless, our captain was very friendly and when we did ask him to reiterate information given originally in French in English he promptly translated it. The initial high of spotting wild dolphins was somewhat dampened by every tourist boat in a certain radius starting to chase the dolphin pod around. We wish this encounter could have been handled with more respect to the animals. All in all, we were happy with the trip itself, it was a lot of fun sitting in the speedbpat and we liked exploring the smaller islands in a day. 4/5 stars!

Non-compliant and disappointed by the service - Poor organisation. We were supposed to be picked up from the hotel at 7 a.m. and we had to call. We had been forgotten. The excursion program does not correspond to the service. Only 3 islands instead of 5. Deer Island is a tourist island, no interest.
