Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan snorkel tour - This was just an amazing day out! Some of the best snorkelling I've ever done (so much variety of marine life/coral) and our crew leader Ken was so helpful and lovely to be with. I've been to Koh Tao before but Koh Nang Yuan was just like paradise, so beautiful! Would highly recommend this tour. It included 3 snorkelling stop offs, a tasty Thai lunch and a chance to relax and swim too. Thank you so much!

Snorkeling - rest and beaches. Walks in the jungle - Beautiful island 1h30 by boat from Samui. Nice snorkeling corners. Shark bay top. I recommend for a few days and rent a scooter to get around.

Great trip , worth every cent - One of the highlights of my trip, very professional ,safe and friendly. Gets a bit bumpy on the speedboat , I usually get seasick but was fine with the bumps. First time snorkeling so don't worry if you have no experience. Last stop on the private island was the highlight for me.

Amazing prestige waters for snorkelling - By far the BEST spots for snorkelling if you are looking for a day trip around Koh Samui! We tried snorkelling around all the surrounding islands and it was prestine around Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan. The lunch spread was really extensive and full filling for the day trip. The boat ride is 1 hr each way via speedboat. Rough waters on our day, advise travel sickness tablets if you suffer from motion sickness. Nevertheless still a really safe ride and the crew were very focused on everyone’s safety. The beach stop on Koh Nangyuan was beautiful and plenty of time to snorkel and relax. Can hike to the view point if you want.

Thanks to Mr Tu! - I booked this tour after reading some incredibly mixed reviews of the local passenger ferry to Koh Tao - this is a fair bit more expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. The staff were all excellent, constantly coming round offering out free water or a soft drink on the journey to Koh Tao. The snorkelling itself was fabulous, we got to see a green turtle going about his business which was magical, and when the staff onboard realised there was a turtle around they delayed the journey to lunch by a few mins so people could get back in the water and have a quick look if they wanted. Lunch was delicious, and the stop in Nang Yuan Island was incredibly beautiful (if a little windy!). On the way back it was pretty bumpy as the wind had gotten up through the day, but the skipper was excellent and no-one was ill on the boat, in spite of the conditions. All in all, a really fantastic trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a Koh Samui day trip.

A nice experience overall - Overall, a very enjoyable trip. I hope those who book have nice weather with calm seas. Our day was pretty good, but the waters were a bit rough and if you were lucky (or unlucky) enough to sit in the front, it's pretty bumpy. I'm a thrill seeker and that was cool for a bit, but then it got more or less annoying and I just wanted to enjoy the trip out to the island. Other than that, the snorkeling spots were nice. Didn't see any turtles, but it was still a nice day out on the seas. You do make port and eat at a restaurant with a buffet-style meal. That was pretty good too.

good snorkeling, long day, bring towels! - The snorkeling was pretty good, though we did not see much more variety than we'd seen at Angthong a few days prior. Just more of it. That was surprising given the reputation of the two places for snorkeling. The crew were nice, especially the one guy who got in the water with our kids and took photos & videos for them. I'm not sure if it was the boat or the waves or just that direction is worse but it was a much rougher ride than we had going to Angthong. It is also not straightforward who operates this as it seems to be a third party arrangement. We booked through Smile Samui Tour whose website has the same phone # as this page and the email address here indicates they're the same. But then when we arrived everyone was wearing Mr. Tu's t-shirts so that seems to be the boat/crew operator. There was confusion about the balance owed and they didn't really know so had to have us call Smile. When outsourced it feels like there's a little less accountability. They don't loan out fins so you have the option to buy water shoes as you take off (our Angthong cruise loaned fins). The most confusing thing was that they did not have towels on board for guests and acted surprised when we asked for a towel for our son. One of the crew let him use his which was nice but this is strange to not have towels as I don't think most tourists travel with towels and the booking confirmation does not suggest people to bring towels. If they're not going to provide them they should at least explicitly tell people to bring them. Also, they gave a very wide window for pick up, asking us to be in lobby from 7:50-8:20am. We booked other tours at Koh Samui and they all gave us a direct time and sent messages in the morning. I think this is also probably an issue of dealing with a third party. It's a fine tour if this is your budget, you're up for a long day with multiple snorkel sessions, and you are aware of these things. We more enjoyed our trip to Angthong though, even though it was a fair higher cost. You can look around for operators that own their own boats and go there for ideas on who that might have been.

Fun snorkelling, noisy boat and gastro from lunch - The staff were friendly and helpful, and the snorkelling was fun. But I did not enjoy the hour long speed boat trip and not being able to see outside the boat. It was cramped and noisy. I have also suffered from gastro since we returned from the lunch we ate.
