Highly recommended! - The excursions with CaboKaiTours are highly recommended. Class instead of mass, it really hits the spot. We booked the Turtle Watch Tour and the great Boa Vista Tour and were all very excited. In the run-up, we didn't think it was possible that we would really see turtles. We then found babies and were also able to observe a fake loggerhead turtle laying eggs. A really great experience. Also the great Boa Vista tour was totally beautiful and timed so perfectly that we could avoid the other tourist groups and explore the individual sights for ourselves. Kai accompanied the tours herself and explained everything great. The children were perfectly involved by her. I did a tour with Kai once before in 2010 and the tours were just as perfect today as they were then. Thank you and best regards from L to Pepi 😉

Tolle Tour - All in all a great and not so time-consuming tour. Since it takes place in the evening, the temperatures are very pleasant. All very nice and a fun ride to the beach. Highly recommended!

Absolutely unique and recommended! - Beautiful and eventful tour with Kai and her team. We had little newly hatched turtles in our hands and then put them in the water together. It was a unique and wonderful experience!

Magical experience! - The turtle season runs from June to October. Some sites say mid-October. We went on October 24th so Kai had already said that the chances of seeing an adult turtle laying eggs would be low but that we would definitely see baby turtles. The guide King Arthur picked us up at hotel Karamboa and one hour later we were on the beach. We turned out to be lucky! An adult turtle had just been spotted. We got to see the whole process. Digging the hole, laying the eggs, cloaking the nest and walking the turtle back to sea. Fantastic! We also saw baby turtles and led them to the sea. Top night!

Would definitely recommend going!! - What a great experience. We were picked up at the hotel and sat at the back of the truck. This made it great for wonderful viewings of the stars and milky way. After a bumpy and adventurous ride we arrived to see the turtles. Kai told us all about the cycle of the turtles which made it even more interesting. We saw hatchings, brought baby turtles to the sea and a turtle came out of the water to lay her eggs.

Unique and priceless! - Everything about this Turtle Watch tour was just right. It started with the punctual pick-up at the hotel and the personal welcome. The pick-up truck with seats inside and on the cargo area was comfortable and well-sprung, so you could hardly notice potholes and humpbacks. But this was also due to the excellent driver Mimis, who very surely recognized and circumvented every bump even in darkness. We learned everything we needed to know from Kai from mating to hatching. She also always knew an answer to the many questions the children asked. I had already done such a tour in Costa Rica, but there the event bordered on mass handling. At Kai's we were a cozy group of eight. The big loggerhead turtles were quickly spotted and we got very, very close. We could even touch tanks and fins briefly. After that, we helped Turtle Mom shovel her nest a little. Species and animal welfare has always been the highest premise, so always turn off lightning and all lights! It became especially emotional when each of us was allowed to take a baby turtle and christen it. We helped them walk safely through the sand and released them into the sea. Fantastic! Saw lots of turtles, 100% recommended! - Fantastic tour! We were picked up at around 8pm from our hotel and taken on a short drive to the beach. Our guide was fantastic and gave us all of the necessary knowledge about the loggerheads turtles before we saw them. We saw well over 50 baby turtles scuttling up the beach to get to the ocean and we also saw a mother turtle laying her eggs which was one of the most beautiful things I’d ever seen. We saw the full life cycle of the turtles and I would recommend anyone to do this tour! Our guide was super knowledgeable and had the tough job of speaking 3 languages on our trip which is a challenge in itself!
