Incredible experience!!!! - Im a study abroad student currently studying in Italy. I really wanted to check seeing the northern lights off my bucket list. I had a number of things go wrong during my travel and due to my school schedule I was only able to be in Bodø for 1 night (which is not a vert effective way to see the lights). In addition to this, every website I contacted told me that their tours were canceled due to weather or booked out. On the day of arriving at Bodø, I found this tour company and got lucky enough to book the last slot for the night. My tour guide Julia was awesome! She prepared tea for us and brought her own camera to take professional photos for us. We ended up driving all the way to Sweden just looking for good weather condition. Not only do I walk away from that night with an incredible experience under the northern lights when it seemed unlikely, but I also got to visit a country I never thought I would make it too in Sweden. I will remember this night and company forever!!! Highly recommend!!

Friendly, knowledgable and determined Bodø aurora hunters. I’d highly recommend them. - After excellent communication I was met on time with a hello and smile and then introduced to the others on the trip. Our host Julia then sat us down and explained a little about hunting the lights and the tools she would use to assist her. Unfortunately widespread cloud was present on the night but this didn’t stop her from taking us to a number of locations determined to get us a view and her efforts paid off when we managed to get a view of the aurora. A fantastic night with an excellent company who really went above and beyond to make the night as enjoyable as possible.

Stunning Aurora - 🌍I and my boyfriend (Øystein) flew from Oslo to Bodø in northern Norway, excited for my aurora hunting adventure. However, it rained every day, and the skies remained dark, which made me wonder if I’d ever get to see the northern lights. For a good view, the skies need to be clear with stars visible, and we had to be away from any light pollution. But then, the day finally came. Everyone gathered at the meeting point, our group included people from Norway, Germany, and Spain. Due to a change in wind direction, our plan had to change as well. 💫The adventure turned out to be incredibly fun, despite the freezing cold that made my skull ache. We stopped at several spots to check for auroras. Eventually, we arrived at a location by the sea, set up our cameras, and got ready. And then, luck was on our side. The sky lit up with dancing auroras that flickered for a long time and appeared multiple times. It was truly magical! 🌌This moment, by the sea under the shimmering auroras, was the highlight of the trip and the most memorable birthday gift 🎁 I could have asked for. It made me incredibly happy. I felt so fortunate. It’s a once in a lifetime experience to have gone on an aurora hunt and witnessed the beauty of the northern lights. The last thing is our guide is very funny and kind.👏🏻

Northern Lights can't hide from Ivar - Wow, what a trip. Ivar really did his best to hunt us down clear skies despite the cloudy night. We went well into the morning but it was so worth it. Really made a dream come true. The van was also comfortable and he had drinks for us. The warm blackberry drink was great after staying outside for a bit.he thought us how to adjust our camera settings and had some tripods handy too. Definitely worth it.

Wonderful guide, unforgettable night, and bonus moose sightings - Ivar's was the last of five northern lights tours we experienced in Norway, and it turns out we saved the best one for last. While no guide can guarantee an aurora sighting, you should trust that Ivar will help you make the most of your stay in Bodø no matter what the skies have in store. He let us explore one beautiful spot after the next, offered us tasty treats, kept us safe and warm, and shared his deep knowledge of the northern lights and Norway along the way. He's an enthusiastic guide and a great guy in general, two qualities which came together so that we could witness a truly remarkable display when the conditions were right. A tour with great Northern Lights and lots of information - It was a spontaneous decision to book the tour and it was the best decision!:D The group was pleasantly small and Ivar explained to us great the Northern Lights and their appearance. I can use this knowledge well in Iceland at the moment! The tour starts with 6 people plus Ivar in a central hotel in Bodø and then we stayed in the region around Bodø as the weather conditions were suitable here. And what can I say, we were lucky Sooo to have found these great Northern Lights in several places! Thank you for this great and unique tour! :D

Hunting for the light - I realized soon into the adventure that we were NOT simply going to a standard location and hoping for a light show, rather this was a hunt for the northern lights with a curious, knowledgeable, well prepared and passionate guide. This changed everything in a good way. And yes, the lights were found and made the 3am return to our hotel ok. And thank you for the excellent preparation advice and guidance for those who captured images.

Beautiful Northern Lights with Guide Ivar - Ivar was a wonderful guide who knew many good places to admire the Northern Lights. You travel very comfortably in a Mercedes bus, get warm ponchos, Norwegian tea and cookies. It is decided in the group where to stay for how long and with Ivar's suggestions you have a very good chance to see the Aurora. When we come back to Bodø, we will gladly do this tour again.
