Just right - I stayed in Tigaki which was very convenient for beach and amenities. Easy to get bus to Kos town or pick up other transport for trips and sightseeing. Felt very safe, not overly busy. Some nightlife but not all night drinking/ dancing crowd. So if that's what you want this isn't for you. But for a quieter relaxed holiday it's perfect

AVOID!! Book elsewhere - AVOID!! Worst customer service by this family run corrupt tour operators!! Family of eight with one child under 11 but they charged us full price. When asked at booking why we were charged for a 9yr old when under 11’s go free, they smacked the desk and told me that none of us will travel if I don’t like it! Bullying behaviour!! Worst day out too everyone on the trip to Bodrum moaned because as all we done was queue for 4 hours!!

TERRIBLE PLACE TO VISIT **AVOID** - Don’t bother! Overpriced and the locals rip you off. We got ferry over from Kos for the day & wish we had not bothered. The town centre is overrun with dogs & the prices are ridiculous. We got ripped off €18 euros for 2 coffees!! We couldn’t wait to get back over to Kos. You can’t walk down the street without getting hassled by the shop owners & restaurant owners. Not a pleasant experience. Won’t be going back. What a dump!!!

Transfer not included - We booked the trip before leaving the UK and specifically selected for a hotel pick up and return as one of our oarty has difficulty walking. I tried to contact the company on the Viator app twice and also on WhatsApp 2 days before our trip as I had not received detail. They eventually came back to say it had been advertised with incorrect details on Viator and no transfer was included. We were offered this for an addition €5 per person surcharge and pick up was on the main road not the hotel. As it was too late to change our arrangements we had to accept this If we had been informed sooner we would have made alternative arrangements as it would havd been cheaper. The actual ferry crossing was very efficient we didn't have to wait too long at customs and the guide on the bus gave very good instructions for return.

Kos-Bodrum trip huge failure (including Adris travel agency in Kos) - Unacceptable situation already from the time we booked the tickets at the agency in the center of Kos (specifically from Adris Nissia Travel). We started to do the day trip from Kos to Bodrum where the boat left at half past 9 from Kos and 4 hours from Bodrum for the return. In addition to the fact that the lady at the agency went to charge us 10 euros more than normal because she could.. also thinking that we don't know the amount the failure continued on the itinerary later. I should note the lady's comment "come and take the 10 euros because you are a complainer". So the boat for Bodrum, which was the Sea Star Samos, appeared at 10 in Kos, while at 10 we should have already been in Bodrum. The situation is tragic at the customs office of Kos. 1 hour standing in the sun waiting for the ship to appear. By 10:30 we hadn't left even the return from Bodrum at 4 where you have to be earlier for check in than 3 because there is also a queue. So the Kos-Bodrum excursion from 4 and a half hours that we had available was reduced to 3 by force. Tragic everyone in the organization in Kos. Including the beginnings of the port where there were tourists disembarking and boarding and they didn't know where they were coming from. A real failure. In my opinion the day trips to Bodrum are not worth the money and are plain exploitation.
