- Bodrum Castle - Bodrum Castle (Castle of St.Peter), that the castle was built by the Knights of St. John between 1402 and 1409. The castle is fascinating the moment you step inside. It looks overwhelmingly fascinating from the outside as well. Has a lot of history to it
- Myndos Gate - It is impressive how they could even build such a thing so long ago, A little imagination is required of this 400BC archaeological site of the southern city gate in the walls of ancient Halicarnassus. Some history boards give a flavor of its importance to antiquity. There is not much left of it, but it is history, use your imagination and think about what king Mausolus and queen Artemis did for their ppl……take your time, seat and watch it.

Mausoleum of Halicarnassus - The Mausoleum is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. King Mausolus reigned around 376 BC and the colossal tomb before his death. It was destroyed by an earthquake around 1494, nearly all of the materials were used to build Bodrum Castle.
Now, all that you can see are some columns, the stairway and some chambers, some remnants of statues and wall plaques. Some of the original statues are in the British Museum. There is a mock-up showing you what it did look like, and a short video to watch.
A beautiful place is full of history and remains of the past. You will have to use your imagination since there is not much left of the original structure. Make sure to visit if you are in Bodrum! -
Bodrum Amphitheater - Located in the middle of Bodrum on the southern skirts of Göktepe Mountain, this theater is one of the oldest theaters in Anatolia. Restored by a group of Turks in the 1960s, this theater still hosts many festivals in Bodrum today. Tourists who come to see the theater do not realize how pleasant hours are while they sit there and watch the boats dock and dock in the harbor.
The Ancient Theater, which is a stage from ancient times in Bodrum, is still actively used today. In Bodrum, there is a city called Halicarnassus, which was ruled by a family close to the Persians in ancient times. This theater, which was built for the people of this city, has a total capacity of 3 thousand people. The rows in the upper part of the theater are out of use as they have not been restored. Some sources, which write that it has a capacity of 13.000 people, may be giving the amount of capacity in the first state of the building. It is thought to have been built around 400 BC.
