Found peace and inspiration - Caption Tony was a great tour guide, Took his time to show and explain everything. I Unplugged from the world and connected with the beauty of traditional craftsmanship or carpet weaving. An unforgettable moment of tranquility. Also how could I forget about the delicious lunch! Yum

Very nice village tour - Very nice tour, you get to see an area that is somewhat hard to reach as a tourist. Abdullah our guide was amazing and explained everything in detail. There is a carpet shop for the local cooperative. You will have a presentation about the carpet making at the end of the tour and a chance to buy carpets if you want.

Not what we were expecting - I will start my saying that the tour guide and people living in this small village were very nice. This tour experience was not what we expected and was just not for us. We didn't stay the entire time and requested to be taken back to the cruise ship. This village is located in a rural/off the grid area outside of Bodrum. There is nothing modern in this area. The rug making process was interesting.

Interesting and unexpected! - For the price, this tour exceeded expectations. This is not your average tour with a polished tour guide giving you historical information. After a quiet drive into the countryside, the guide gives a tour of a small village and gives a glimpse into the everyday village life. There is a carpet weaving demonstration that includes a visit into the shop to purchase the carpets. The carpets are substantially cheaper than in the metro areas. Just make sure to bargain the price down. 😉 We finished with lunch at the local outdoor restaurant with the local chickens and dogs around us as our guests.

Etrim, time in abeyance - A very interesting excursion with family or friends.Despite our approximate English, the Guide, Metin, used easy vocabulary, spoke slowly, very attentive. We visited a carpet factory, very interesting. But , we stayed hungry, because we did not visit a tobacco factory, tea, olive oil, mosque .... Too bad.
