Do yourself a Favour and Book this Private Trip - We have just completed the most wonderful day trip from Bodrum > Ephesus and return. Selenay, our guide was outstanding, we haven’t had a guide with as much knowledge and passion, she certainly made the day. Our driver was the consummate professional. This Private Tour saw us visit Mary's House and surrounding archaeological sites at Ephesus, such as the Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, Gate of Hercules, the Odeon, Temple of Artemis and Cathedral of St John. If that was not enough to round out the day we had superb lunch set within the cool surrounds of pomegranate and citrus trees at Nakkas Ephesus. Here we saw weavers, weaving their magic, and the fascinating process of spinning raw silk from cocoons, this capped off such a memorable day. We were here in late September, crowds were not overwhelming and the weather was ideal. (Note to self, wear non slip shoes, when walking around Ephesus, the marble paths can be quite slippery.) If you’re looking for the perfect trip to the above, we cannot recommend this trip / Curio Travel highly enough.

Great way to see and learn the major sites; especially for those with limited time - Excellent tour of the Mary’s house and to the Ephesus ruins. We had a great time learning about the how the church came to recognize this location as the house where Mary lived and the history of the building and fall of the port of Ephesus and its preservation. Ilknur is a great tour guide. She majored to be a tour guide and shares her excitement about the locations and what we are viewing. She’s also very protective of her clients safety and values our time and interests. We travelled in style in a Mercedes coach. Our driver was always waiting for us with the van. I highly recommend this tour.

Ephesus, Virgin Mary House tour - Tour was incredible. We got such interesting insight into the history of all locations which would’ve been lost touring on our own. The recommendation to do the Ephesus experience museum was definitely appreciated, it was AMAZING. Our tour guide was incredibly kind and friendly and astoundingly knowledgeable about all locations we visited and about Turkey generally. Cannot wait to come back!

Excellent shore excursion - This was the best way to maximize our time in port! The guide and driver met us promptly at the port. The first part of the drive from Bodrum to Ephesus was spent hearing an interesting history of the area. Our guide was engaging and spoke perfect English. The driver was careful and the vehicle was comfortable. I loved that we were able to go at our own pace. The driver even loaned us his sun umbrella which really came in handy on this blazing hot day. The lunch stop was great, allowing us to taste a variety of local dishes. I highly recommend this tour (we were sailing on Virgin Voyages, Resilient Lady).

Biblical tour with emre. - What an unbelievable day! Emre taught us so much. We learned things about the Bible we had never known. Of all the tours we’ve done so far this was hands down the best. We enjoyed every minute: the tour through Ephesus, the traditional lunch, the rug tour and the basilica of St. John. The shoppers in the group enjoyed the leather shop and the shops around the port as well as looking (and buying) a beautiful handmade rug.

Best Excursions we had for the Mediterranean cruise - We did 2 tours with Ephesus Shuttle tours, Kusadasi and Istanbul. They were both wonderful!!!! The tour guides were very knowledgeable, they managed the schedule very efficiently, we were able to visit most of the famous attractions and get back to the cruise ship on time!!!! They are excellent. Just contact Fevzi Turhan and tell him what you want to see, and he will come up with the best small group tour for you!!!! The price is very reasonable too!!!

Ephesus Tour - The tour was one of the highlights of the trip to Kusadasi. Out guide, Mr Iskender was very knowledgeable and pointed out things of both historical and cultural interest. He really brought this ancient city to life. He also did not "rush" us, and gave us time to ;ook at things and ask questions. lunch was filling but non-remarkable.. I would have thought it would be a Turkish culinary experience rather than a watered down tourist version, but the venue was very pleasant ( in the gaardens of a rug/carpet making showroom). I am glad that we went during the week and not on a weekend, as the ruins and Mary's House were not overwhelmed by visitors. Apparently June July and August are so hectic with visitors that you get pushed along in the current :) But I can definitely recommend this Tour Operator

Ephesus tour - Good tour. Only complaint is we couldn’t go to another spot. We would have preferred to not have lunch and see other sites. He was incredibly knowledgeable. We didn’t need to have lunch and see shops. Wanted to see Apollo’s temple.
