Cave tour with Steve was worth the trip! - This was a beautiful cave. It was about a 45 minute tour, not too strenuous. Our guide Steve was funny and very informative. It’s nice to have a guide who you can tell loves the history and science behind their tour!

Doesn’t disappoint-worth the drive!! - It was a 40 minute drive from our hotel and we’ll worth it. The cave was larger than I expected and the tour guide did a great job at giving us the history and scientific knowledge then showed some fun shapes and stories. This cave is part of additional cave tours to then get a free shirt. My husband and I are looking forward to exploring the other caves because we had a great experience here.

Cave Without a Name: Kaleidoscope of Colors and Shapes - I loved all the varieties in shape and color of the stalagmites and stalagtites, along with the pools of water besides some of the formations--I've enjoyed many caves, but this one was by far the most beautiful. Nice that it's mostly a tour on flat land but with incredibly gorgeous views of the formations on all sides.

Excellent cave experience! - Absolutely worth it! We've visited multiple large and small caves in Texas and other states like Georgia, Arizona, and Tennessee. This cave has the most geological activity for its size. We could tell that people haven't touched or vandalized the walls or near-by formations like other big caverns we've visited. The walk down felt short, the walk up felt 2xs longer! Some people struggled and had to stop and catch their breath. This isn't a climb for anyone super under-conditioned. But-everyone made it back up to the top! Brief stops and starts-so just be prepared. Bring water, wear non skid footwear. It's worth the end assending climb to see all the hidden beauty, at least in some parts, 6 ft under the surface! We'd tour again, especially over the over commercialized Natural Bridge. This experience was packed full of sights and the tours are small, 12-15 in our group, and the wait minimal with a reservation. Our tour guide Mike could use more volume, we were at the back of the tour group and often missed parts of his information. No bats: aka "chicken nuggets" when we visited June 8. At this cave they're not referred to as that- we were quickly corrected by our guide. Instead, they're called "tricolor bats". We are familiar with caves but those who aren't might ask more questions. Our group moved at a great pace- no questions asked to our guide. Mike was generous and took the time to snap pictures at Queens Thrown of each couple/ family. Gift shop is fine, nothing is locally sourced : none of the rocks or geodes. Gift shop offers geode cutting, necklaces, rocks, crystals, magnets, stickers, t-shirts... *and a terrific Christmas ornament ($19.00) for those who want a sentimental reminder of this incredible cave experience! We bought geodes to crack at home, t shirts, a rough precracked gorgeous large geode (only $15!) and the ornament. Cave was a lovely 66 degrees, no need to bundle up, it was perfect temp in shorts and t shirt and we never put on the jacket. Highly recommend!
