These mountains offer a striking visual and significantly influence the city’s climate. Despite their constant presence, they are often overlooked by both residents and visitors of the city. Recently, after a concerted effort from residents of adjacent neighborhoods, the city authorities have opened up several hiking trails, offering people the opportunity to explore one of the city’s greatest natural assets.
- The physical demands of this hike are medium-high. We recommend taking this tour two days after your arrival to Bogotá, especially if you are not accustomed to high altitudes.
