Excellent whirlwind of Bogotá's top spots - BIG THANKS to LIZ, our stellar tour guide. She is a wealth of knowledge and patience and will answer all your questions on Bogotá's history, economy, policies, and fun places to go. This 7-ish hour long walking tour takes you to Breakfast Montserrat Bolivar's house Mercado Concordia Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo coffee and food tastings Plaza Bolivar / Capitol Museum de Oro It is a LOT of sightseeing and walking, but you will see all of the major sights in one day, and know where to go after / the next day for more in depth or anything you saw that day. Montserrat and Candelaria were absolutely gorgeous, and the fruit, coffee, and food tastings were delightful and educational. The Gold Museum was really mind-blowing, like, it completely reframed my understanding of pre-Colombian technology and culture. Only critique: portions are smaller in Latin American, so if you're a 6 foot + American like myself, plan accordingly and pack an extra snack, since lunch is on the light side! 10/10 highly recommend everyone do this if they want to see as much of historic Bogotá in a single day.

Well worth it! 😁😁😁😁 - The tour is a brilliant way to get to know Colombia and understand the history and the culture. My guide Lorena was friendly and insightful. She knew so many gems around Bogota, like the murals and where to buy handcrafted items. If you're travelling alone I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing walking tour with all the highlights of Bogotà - We had an amazing time at the city trip in Bogotà! Our guide Lorena picked us up at the Cranky Croc Hostel and we directly went to a lovely Colombian place for breakfast. The tour continued to Monserrate (with breathtaking views over the city), the famous neighbourhood La Candelaria, a fruit market, Museo Botero, Plaza de Bolivar and two typical Colombian restaurants where we could try local dishes from the countryside and the city! Lorena is an anthropologist and she knew a lot about Bogotà's culture, the food and the environment in Colombia. She was super friendly and gave fantastic recommendations for the city! If you want to experience the highlights of Bogotà in one day, this walking tour is perfect!

11 stars/5 - This was an absolutely amazing experience! Natalie was incredibly informative, friendly, and helpful. She went above and beyond to give us the most wonderful time. She brought pictures and visual aids to keep us engaged- pictures that she took herself and visual aids she made herself. You can really tell she loves what she does!

Unforgettable, Educational - Nick, our guide, was absolutely amazing! He is simply a wealth of knowledge, gregarious, and patient. He was happy to answer any and all questions, even if they weren’t specifically related to the tour. We also covered a lot of ground—completely on foot! It's shocking how much we were able to fit into 7 hours. You really get a lot of bang for your buck: the fee covers the cable ride; coffee tasting in candelaria; entry into Museo del Oro; and several rounds of taste-testing (fruit, street snacks, etc) of Colombian cuisine. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about Bogotá.
