Amazing experience - We had an amazing tour to the Salt Cathedral and Laguna Guatavita with Tatiana and Alexander. Tatiana was a sunny sweet girl and engaging guide, full of energy and knowledge. She shared fascinating insights about Colombia’s indigenous peoples, their culture, customs, and social structure, which really enriched the experience. We appreciated her kindness and how she made the day so enjoyable. Her passion for sharing Colombia’s history and traditions truly made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour - Amazing tour with the tour guide Tatyana and the driver Alexander. Such a wonderful experience seeing Laguna de Guatavita, Zipaquira, and the Cathedral de Sal! Our tour guide Tatyana was so nice, knowledgeable, and personable and sweet. She took the time to explain the culture of Guatavita and Colombia. We were English speakers and he made sure to stay behind with us and give us a tour in English.

Great tour!! - Comfortable bus with thoughtful guide! He pulled our family aside during the all-Spanish tour of the park and kind of gave us our own tour in English. It was very sweet. When our lunch was a little messed up, he went over and above to get it right. And then the salt cathedral is just amazing. All around, a great tour. We took our 11 year old twins, and they loved it.

Excellent day trip - This was such an amazing day. Both the lagoon and the salt cathedral are world class sites. Our guide was absolutely fantastic! Taught us so much about the history and spirituality of the lagoon and was just generally great to chat to through the day. Lunch was delicious at a BBQ place (not included in price but very affordable). Salt cathedral was beyond anything I expected, it is a full two hours to see everything with the audio guide. Plus they have a little train to take you back to the starting point.

A great experience - The trip was well organized. The transportation arrangements were perfect. We needed to return a little bit earlier and they were able to accommodate our needs. We really enjoyed both Guatavita and the Salt Cathedral.

Guatavita good; Cathedral very good. - A long day, but worth it. Guatavita is a pleasant walk with some great views. Lunch was great. The Salt Cathedral is a must-see. The stages of the cross get a little repetitive, but the cathedral itself is an impressive place greatly enhanced by colorful light shows. There is an audio tour available in several languages.

Very poor guiding - Although we enjoyed visiting both places, in terms of a learning experience, this was not a positive tour. The guide, a very sweet young lady, had poor English skills and gave us very little information on what we were seeing. At Guatavita, we followed a guide who was speaking in Spanish and while he would take 20 minutes to explain about the region, she would talk for less than 5 minutes. By the end of the day, she was speaking only in Spanish. Also, the bus was very noisy and she had no microphone so anything she said during the trip was lost to most of us.
