Do it! You won't regret it - We had our tour with Lorena and it was amazing! We started by having a nice traditional Colombian breakfast and got to know her and the others who were joining the tour. We appreciated how knowledgeable Lorena was about the environment and botanical ecosystem; we learned so much. The views and the hike were fantastic. The lunch we had was also pretty good. We would do this again! Special shout out to Lorena; if you have your tour with her, you're in good hands. She was very kind and we were lucky to have had such a beautiful experience with her leading it.

Wonerful way to see the countryside beyond Bogota - A nice hike. Not too challenging, but the altitude required us to take it slow. Beautiful scenery. Yummy, yet simple, lunch. Excellent guide.

Amazing, challenging hike - This was an amazing hike and just the right amount of challenge. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. At its highest, the hike reaches almost 2,000 feet and many parts are uphill climbing. The scenery is beautiful and our breakfast and lunch were very tasty. Definitely bring some cash as they were stalls along the way where you could buy local yogurt and drinks. The tour mentions no water included but we were able to get a bottle of water at breakfast and they also give you a small backpack with water, snacks, and a poncho at the beginning of the hike. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers and couples! This hike is not easy, but worth it.

Wonderful experience in the Colombian nature - Amazing tour if you want to see some of the surrounding countryside at Bogotà and marvel at one of the most majestic waterfalls in Colombia! La Chorrera is over 500m high and located in the colombian jungle. We were picked up at 8.30 am by our friendly guide Lorena and first had some delicious colombian breakfast in Bogotà. Our driver then took us to a rural village in Cundimarca. The last part of the road was quite bumpy, but we always felt safe. You can also enjoy amazing views over the colombian forest during the drive! We then began our hike, which was approximately 1.5 hours until we reached the waterfall. Lorena told us a lot about the surrounding flora and fauna. She is a very knowledgeable anthropoligist and answered all of our questions! Make sure to wear appropiate hiking boots, because the track goes up and down and when it rains it can be muddy. At La Chorrera and during the hike Lorena took a lot of great pictures of us! The waterfall is truly majestic and picturesque. We then had a delicious lunch (meat, fish and vegetarian options) accompanied by some berry juice. We had a fantastic time on this trip and really enjoyed this unique experience!
