We had a great time... - We had a great time exploring the city with Aleja. She made our experience great and was wonderful with our granddaughter.

great way to visit Bogota! - so my wife and I went for 6 hrs on Wednesday with Alejandro. We ubered to the starbucks at the mall and walked to the daily pop up flower market in the parking lot outside of the produce market (stop #2). then we did cacao and coffee stops....fantastic! after the tour, we ubered to the Botanical garden; this is easily done by yourself.
The yellow taxi ubers in Bogota are simple. we must have completed 15-20 rides in 2 and half days....we didn't feel unsafe anywhere. Bogota is a big city, treat it like a big city and don't be careless and you will love it.
On Thursday we did 6hrs with Juani. The Candelaria district....you will see from the pictures we didn't miss any 'spots' in the district - we walked the majr portions of all of it.....fantastic. We went to the Gold Museum and then wrapped up the tour playing Tejo!! the tours are flexible - and easily evolve as the day moves on. Juani was very informative on the history and fun to be with for the day. We went to Parque 93 after for dinner and a stroll.....

Very tailored, friendly, engaging - I had the wonderful experience of the “rent a friend” tour. The process began with an exchange of emails to set the time and general plan — which by design is not precise. Juanita met me at the hotel and we discussed briefly the itinerary which we adjusted as we went. For me, I was not much into making decisions, so I left all the details to Juanita, and it was great! I learned so much and got to experience so much. Normally a ton of energy goes into figuring out where to go, how to go, when to go. Partnering with somebody that knows all that already was awesome. But more than that, Juanita was eager to tell the story of Bogotá and Colombia. Juanita was kind and engaging, personally so it was all conversation driven. Her English is perfect, but she was kind enough to speak with me in “slow” Spanish frequently at my request, and she taught me a lot of the cool words and expressions. Lol. After the tour I received a message following up on some questions and recommendations. It is clear introducing people to Bogotá and Colombia is a true calling, not a job, for the ZF team. I recommend highly.

Outstanding experience! - I did the Hire a Local Friend in Bogota tour with Andre and it was absolutely wonderful! Andre and I talked about what I wanted to do at the beginning of the day and then Andre took me to places that I never would have known about. The tour was better than I'd ever thought it would be and I strongly recommend Zebra Fisgona.

Two Great Days with Two New Friends in Bogota, Columbia - We wanted a local expert and perspective with English speaking guides and Alejo and Juani excelled at this. We did the 6 hour custom tour on two days and selected the activities. We were able to get tips for our free time after the tours. Knowledge of the sites was extensive and the experience was very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Highly Recommend! - We had an absolutely amazing time touring Bogota with Juani! We signed up for the Rent A Local Friend experience, and everything about our interactions with Zebra Fisgona was fantastic, from the initial welcome message, to the crafting of the perfect day in Bogota.
Our tour was perfectly focused on food and we were able to sample fruits, chocolate, coffee, and more all at places and with vendors that we would have never found or experienced by ourselves.
Our day was with Juani was filled with so much fun, laughter, and joy that our only regret is that we booked with them on our last day in Bogota and not our first day. If you are visiting Bogota, do yourself a favor and book with Zebra Fisgona as early in your trip as possible as you will likely want to spend more and more time with them!

Unforgettable and beautiful Bogotá! - We had two unforgettable days touring Bogotá with our rent a friend tour guide Juani. She is a very personal , wonderful and extremely knowledgeable tour guide. She picked us up from our hotel in a private car with a driver. We saw Paloquemao Market ( fruit&flowers ) La Candelaria, Plaza de Bolivar and Monserratte by funicular. We also tour the surrounding countryside of Chia, Sopó, the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá and its charming centro. I highly recommend Juani and Zebra Fisgona Tours. Thank you again Juani to show us your beautiful city!

An Amazing Day With An Amazing New Friend! - We had an absolutely amazing time touring Bogota with Juani! Best Tour Guide in Bogota - I had the pleasure of doing a two-day "Rent a Local" experience with Aleja, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met, she felt more like a friend than a tour guide. Aleja was incredibly flexible, making sure our days were tailored to our interests and comfortable for us. She shared so much knowledge and local insight, giving us a deeper understanding of the culture and everyday life in Colombia. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine passion for showing off her home country made our experience unforgettable. If you’re visiting Colombia, I highly recommend booking a tour with Aleja—she’ll make your trip truly special!

Amazing tour, perfect first stop in Bogota!! - Wow! We took took the “Rent a Local Friend “ tour with Juani and I can say that the name of this tour says it all. We felt instantly connected to and warmly welcomed by Juani. She is one of those people who has a permanent smile on her face. Since this tour is customized, we chose to start at the fruit market. Juani’s knowlege was extensive -from the economic and social significance of the market to a vast knowledge about specific fruits. Unsurprisingly, she was warmly greeted by many people along the way.
We then chose to move on to Candelaria as we are very interested in the historical aspect of Bogota. Juani was impressively knowledgeable about this also. She explained about historical sights referencing the significant events and how they have shaped her city.
Juani then went on to give us general advice for navigating Bogota, help us with our itinerary for the next day, sent us recommendations for restaurants…. And more.
I wish every city I visited had a Juani. She has a deep love for Bogota and uses this passion to welcome visitors, educating them to make the most of their visit. I cannot express how grateful we were to Juani and her team for offering a unique and special experience.
