Guatavita and the salt mines with Diego - We took a group of six, four adults and two kids, on this tour of Guatavita, and the salt mines of Columbia. Transportation was made extremely easy by a vehicle, large enough to hold us all and a fantastic driver, Edisson. Our guide for the day was Diego. He is extremely enthusiastic about the history and culture of Columbia and made certain that we were comfortable the entire time. We went on several tours in Columbia, and he was by far the best guide that we encountered. if you were considering venturing away from Bogota. This is a must do.

Amazing experience - Fantastic experience with Diego!! The best tour guide ever. He was attentive to me and my spouse the entire way. He holds so much knowledge about the history of these sites as well as Colombia’s rich biodiversity. I learned so much! I got a little sick on our way to the top - felt like a heat stroke - and Diego made sure I got all the rest (and tea) necessary before continuing the adventure. And then Guillermo (the driver) was such a fun time too! Thank you so much Diego and Guillermo aka Toreto!

The most memorable excursion - I have so many amazing things I want to say but I fear it’ll make this review too long. First off, this experience was already so amazing because of the history behind these wonders but what really made this experience a MILLION times better was our tour guide, Diego, and our driver, Guillermo (Torreto). Diego is SO knowledgeable and passionate of Colombia in general. The way he story tells about the legends of the indigenous group felt like I was there. Besides that, my wife ran into some sun and altitude sickness but Diego’s top priority was always her health. Many times tour guides will rush you but he took so much care for the two of us. Genuinely felt like I was hanging out with friends. You can’t go to Bogota without this tour and hopefully (cross your fingers) you get Diego and Torreto as your awesome duo! ❤️‍🔥

Beautiful places with a great guide - Diego was great. He explained everything in the cathedral and knew the best places to see the lagoon. All the food that we tried was so good, there was so much food I didn’t even need dinner.

a real adventure - AMAZING!!! it's worth a lot, it's a bit heavy but it's totally worth it!!! Our Guide was Diego and our driver Wilson, amazing people who made our day an adventure. The attractions are super nice, Guatavita is a divine natural paradise and the salt cathedral is a must in Colombia.A plus is that the food they offer is delicious, coarse and representative of Colombian gastronomy. Recommended!!

Don't miss this tour - Just had an amazing tour of Laguna Guatavita and the salt cathedral with True Colombian Experience. Diego was an excellent guide and his insights into their history and significance added depth to our visit. Especially want to thank him for pacing the climb up to Lake Guatavita and suggesting stops that had very few other groups to get good pictures. We enjoyed stunning views, peaceful ambiance, and captivating stories. The tour included breakfast, lunch and a snack - we tasted a lot of authentic Colombian delicacies and drinks with Diego providing added context in the differences in cuisine between regions - if anything, it was too much food for us. Highly recommend this tour.

Bogota Tour to Salt Cathedral and Guatavita lake! - This tour is amazing! You get to see two of the biggest attractions in Bogota in one day, you try loads of local food and drinks and the guide goes out of their way to show you as many local experiences as possible. My guide (Diego) was amazing, his English is fantastic, he is super friendly and he went above and beyond to make my trip as good as he could make it, he is very knowledgeable and is happy to answer loads of questions about anything in Colombia. Can definitely recommend this tour!

Our guide, Diego, was fantastic - as well as being very knowledgeable, he and our driver, Guillermo, were very kind and considerate. Everything was conducted in both Spanish and English.
