Wonderful! - We would have liked longer! But what a great experience!!! And what a great welcome! The landscapes are beautiful and seeing the animals in the areas stage them in their environment without disturbing them.

Best ride ever - This is a nice experience ever I would do this over and over again and the breakfast is also nice we enjoyed.

What a special end to our South Africa adventure! - What a special end to our South Africa adventure! Booked this tour on the morning we left and wow was it something special. Picked up at 04:30 from our hotel and had a mini safari drive to where the 3 hot air balloons were getting ready. It was so interesting to see how these giant balloons get ready for flight. Peter our ranger was the best and a hoot. Balloon Captain Leipoldt was incredibly knowledgeable about everything hot air balloons and all the animals we could see on the ground. The photos we got across the lake with the reflection were some of the best photos we've ever taken. Well done Mankwe Gametrackers!

Bucketlist experience. Loved it. - I loved every part of it! The drive through the park. The filling of the balloons. The explanation of everything. The toast afterwards. The animals we saw. We had a lovely pilot. Ianthé. We really enjoyed.

Incredible surprise balloon safari! - A magical ballooning experience with qualified, friendly staff. Our guide, Tshepo, went above and beyond to keep the experience a surprise and include a wealth of knowledge on the mini game drive to and from our pick up point. The balloon captain, Andries, was similarly wonderful and accommodating. An end to end experience including a scrumptious breakfast. Thank you for an incredible experience and for putting so much heart into your work!

Male leopard viewed - My brother from the UK was able to experience as I (sister) was in hospital sadly. He reported that the organisation, logistics were very well executed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. That day he saw more game from the drives to from the resorts. But did see a leopard padding down a dry stream bed clearly from the balloon.

Hot air balloon ride at Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa - Excellent arrangements by the company. Pick-up was on time at 04:00 on the dot. Friendly and courteous staff throughout. The pilot was excellent, and the balloon ride was spectacular. Well worth the money.

Just exceptional. - This experience should get 10 star rating And exceeded all expectations The crew were exceptional and very professional. The pilots knowledge made you feel so safe. From our pick up to drop off the crew made it special and Went out of their way to make our experience out of this world .

Disappointed - The balloon experience was for my husband’s 60th birthday. We travelled from the United Kingdom unfortunately it was cancelled on the day and rearranged for the next morning. This was cancelled again we were unable to extend our stay due to returning to the uk. My husband was very disappointed.

I do not recommend this company - poor communication - Communication around this activity was terrible. The day before we were due to participate, I received an ambiguous text message that said they did not have enough people but would let me know later in the day if it was going ahead. Unfortunately I then had two missed calls (I was driving) but no voicemail left, and no text messages or emails received. When we arrived at the hotel we had booked specially to ensure the early start for this activity, I received an email asking us to ‘check in’ for the balloon flight - I filled this in and sent it off, assuming this meant it was going ahead. I tried to call the company and sent several messages and emails, but no answer. This morning we woke at 3am to be ready for the 4am pickup - no one showed up. Very disappointed in the lack of communication surrounding this. I appreciate I did have 2 missed calls the previous day, but no messages were left, and no other line of communication was used to try and clarify what was happening. Unfortunately this was our only window this trip to partake in this activity, so sadly this once in a lifetime experience will have to be relegated to the ‘what could have been’ pile as we shall not book through this company again. We travelled 3hrs, booked a hotel, and all for nothing in the end. Very disappointed. I appreciate cancellations can happen for a variety of reasons, but this needs to be CLEARLY communicated to avoid stress and anxiety (not to mention an unnecessary 3am start) It is all well and good the company recommending you book several slots to ‘avoid disappointment’ but that would tied up thousands of pounds! We shall see how long it takes to receive a refund for this activity, as it was paid for in full many months ago.
