Simone Vergamini, honored as the “Best Sommelier of Tuscany 2023” and achieving 3rd place in the Best Sommelier of Italy competitions in 2018, 2021, and 2022, is delighted to guide you in exploring the finest wineries. Throughout the journey, Simone will share the rich history, traditions, and unique characteristics of the region and its vineyards. Simone is eager to answer any questions and will utilize extensive knowledge to ensure you leave with a deeper appreciation.
The tour includes visits to two stunning wineries that exemplify the Bolgheri area, typically Chiappini and Grattamacco, or alternatively Tenuta di Vaira and Le Novelire. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the vineyards, tour the cellars, and enjoy wine tastings paired with local delicacies. Between these visits, there will be a lunch featuring traditional local dishes in the charming village of Bolgheri (lunch not included in the price).
