Salvador Dali Desert - A place that looks surreal. Strange rock formations that are named after the famous artist, due to the oneiric passage that surrounds this place
Laguna Colorada - Amazing lagoon with an incredible color due to its minerals and surrounded by flamingos in their natural state.
Aguas Termales de Polques - Thermal pools in the middle of this amazing mountains where you can enter and experience this marvelous place
Geiser Sol de la Manana - Located at an altitude of more than 4,850 m, this geyser field is fed by underlying volcanic activity, due to the friction of the American plate with the South Pacific plate. This is manifested by astonishing spectacles, made of mud craters, bubbles and fumaroles with sulfurous vapors under the effect of pressure (and heat: we reached almost 200°C). These hot springs are located in the heart of the Salar de Chalviri, a salt formation populated by flamingos and ducks: the living species of this area have managed to adapt to these hostile climatic conditions, to say the least.
Bolivia experience day 2
Last day of Bolivia- Salar the Uyuni
Isla Incahuasi - Incahuasi Island, that in Quechua means “the house of the Inca”, is a Bolivian island located in the central part of the Salar de Uyuni, department of Potosí.
Completely surrounded by the immensity of salt of the Salar de Uyuni, its relief is steep. In it there is a large number of giant cacti that can measure more than 10 meters in height.
Uyuni - The most awaited stop of most travelers. Enjoy the majestic view of this natural beauty in the heart of Bolivia, where not only you can enjoy fun and creative photos but also experience natures gifts in a peaceful spot.
Dakar Monument - Located in the Salar de Uyuni, in the southwest of Bolivia in the Department of Potosí.
The creation of the Dakar monument in 2014 has become a symbol of the desert and a mandatory stop for tourists who arrive every year.
Train Cemetery - The Train Cemetery is a site of abandoned trains on the edge of the salt flats of the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. It is located southwest of the city of Uyuni, a few kilometers from the city center, and is said to be the largest railway cemetery in the world.
Ojos del Salar - Under the Salar of Uyuni there are rivers of fresh and salt water flow. This water, passing under the salt crust, carries with it the air that will find ways to get out. These “eyes” of the salt flat are the places where the air comes out precisely, forming small lakes in the heart of the salt flat. This manifests itself through bubbles that rise to the surface with mineral-laden water.
