Embrace the charm of Bologna in this delightful two-hour walk through the city. We’ll explore the multitude of architectural styles - ranging from the Gothic, to the Baroque, through to the Renaissance and then the Classical periods showcased throughout the city. Our journey commences at the Archiginnasio Palace, housing the oldest university in the world, the University of Bologna. Then, our route takes us to Piazza Maggiore, the home of the Basilica of San Petronio. From there, we move to Piazza del Nettuno, recognized by its trio of administrative buildings. Subsequently, we’ll make our way to Palazzo del Podestà, now known as the Bargello Museum, before exploring the Captain of the People’s palace. The excursion carries on to two diverse towers: the Asinelli Tower and the Garisenda Tower. While the former provides an extraordinary city view post a climb of over 400 steps, the latter is equally captivating. The tour wraps up at Quadrilatero, a bustling locality renowned for its markets and stores.
