Excellent experience and food - Irene was excellent, she was authentic but was able to explain things well in English. Her family were friendly and the food was fantastic.

Fun with pasta - We had a great time in this class. The chef, Irene, was friendly and informative. She made us fell like part of the family. And the tagliatelle and ragu that we made was better than what we had been served at restaurants. One warning - if you are allergic to cats this may not be for you.

Brillint experience! - We loved this experience! We got a hands on experience making the ragu & pasta & we learnt about the Bologna tradition cooking. There were a couple of other guests on the experience who misread there instructions on how to arrive & they were rude about it & ended up leaving which for us was a bonus because it ment the people who were on the experience were there to enjoy it...& it ment more pasta for us to eat! Both were very welcoming into there home & blessed us with so much espresso, food & wine. Would definitely recommend doing to anyone!

Shame on you Viator!!! - The home is not suitable for guests to be cooking in her home. We shared a family bathroom to wash our hands and it was not appropriate for guests, it did not feel sanitary nor did the kitchen. The wine offered was cheap and tasted like vinegar and the food was not good, pasta was tough and did not have a lot of flavor. Loud music was being blasted by her son and did not make for a nice cooking experience. We were disappointed that the 4 cooking classes that we booked through Viator were all cancelled over a week period and I had to scramble to find other classes and then this one was suggested to us by Viator and we wanted to do a cooking class while we were there so we decided to do it but it didn't have any reviews. The host was nice and I feel bad submitting a negative review but I want to be honest about the very disappointing experience. Viator needs to properly interview and vet its hosts before posting cooking classes and they also should be liable for cancelling us from all of the classes I had booked. Ironically friends we met on our trip had the same bad experience with the same host. I would not recommend booking through Viator/Trip Advisor after this terrible experience. They obviously are not paying their hosts enough because the quality of this cooking class was BAD.
