Via A. Grazia, 5 - The activity takes place 15 km from the city center of Bologna, in an organic farm, you will prepare the dishes of traditional Bolognese cuisine. We will prepare the traditional dishes by mixing eggs and flour, pulled by hand, seasoned with traditional sauces, prepared by us, once the preparation is finished you will taste what is prepared in the garden or inside our house. You will also prepare a traditional dessert that you will take home; We organize seasonal courses and based on these, we decide together what to prepare and learn during the cooking class.
The activity starts at 2.30 pm, when we will meet in the city center, in via Santo Stefano 14, we will take you to the Bolognese hills 15 km from Bologna, and the activity will end at about 6 pm, after you will taste the dishes prepared until 7.30 pm, time when we will take you back to the city center.

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting - This was a wonderful experience with very friendly and accommodating hosts. We were picked up in Bologna and driven out to our host’s beautiful home in the countryside and greeted with coffee and biscuits. We then began the cooking class with Elisabetta and her daughters which was very informative and great fun. Most importantly though we finished the experience with a lovely dinner comprising of the pasta we had made and the accompanying sauces prepared by Elisabetta. A very enjoyable evening in a beautiful setting. Thank you for having us in your home.

Incredible experience! We... - Incredible experience! We learned to cook traditional pasta in the home of our chef. The property is up on a hill, about 30 minutes outside of Bologna. They picked us up and took us to their home which was a majestic property. We learned to make two types and pasta with two different sauces while enjoying local wines.

We had the most wonderful... - We had the most wonderful time with Flaminia and Elisabetta! They are incredibly kind hosts, the food we made was phenomenal and the setting was very special. Could not recommend this experience more highly - a real highlight of our trip! Thanks again for such a great day.

Must do! One of the best experiences! - We are a family who loves private and unique tours while on holiday and this cooking experience at Elizabetta’s farm was one of the most authentic and memorable experiences we would recommend to anyone who wants an evening to learn from a seasoned chef, feel like you are part of their family and eat like a real Bologna local.
The experience suits all levels of cooking ability. One of the main reasons this experience caught our eye was that two of our family members have made their own pasta before and are very comfortable in the kitchen while I have never made homemade pasta. We didn’t want a cooking school or anything commercialized but an authentic experience. What we got was beyond our expectations—the cooking tips that even tested our own methods and that we will be changing when we get home..to the special relationship between Flavia (with perfect English) and her mother Elizabetta had us laughing and enjoying the whole night. We felt so honored to be part of this special family and their timeless and delicious recipes , welcoming us into their home and making us feel that we were old friends who knew each other for some time.
If you have a chance to go, you don’t want to miss this experience!

Pasta and much more. - From start to finish a delightful experience with a family who share their amazing 17th century home located in the hills outside Bologna along with their culinary expertise and passion. Flaminia’s knowledge of local history combined with chef Elizabetta’s skill as an instructor, delicious traditional recipes, relaxed pace, and delicious wine made for a truly memorable few hours. Highly recommend!!!

Delightful cooking experience in the hills above Bologna - This cooking lesson with our beautiful chefs was one of the absolute highlights of our 3 week tour of Northern Italy focusing on food. We were picked up in town and drove up into the bucolic hills, learned to prepare our own fresh pastas, and ate on a lovely terrace overlooking the countryside. It was a wonderful experience.

I can’t recommend this enough! - Our trip to bologna would not have been the same without this wonderful afternoon with this family. Flaminia gave us an informative tour in route to her home. It was amazing to get outside the city. And her home is a dream! The cooking with her sister, her mother and their 5 friendly dogs was authentic and delicious.

Unforgettable experience that exceeds your expectations - This has been the most memorable experience of our trip. There's so much good to say about this trip that it's hard to know where to start.
If you are looking to learn how to make pasta in an authentic way along with patient instructors, look no further.
If you are looking to get a taste of what the countryside in Italy is like, along with the company of some lovely dogs, look no further.
If you are looking to simply spend time with a wonderful family and exchange culture, ideas and laughs, look no further.
If you want a satisfied belly filled with dishes which have been picked by what is currently the freshest in the season, look no further.
We just had such a great time, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone else. I'm confident enough in this recommendation to tell you to just book it.

Lovely, authentic cooking session in the countryside - We had a truly perfect time in Ca‘Bianca. The service of collecting us from the meeting point and bringing us back there after the course worked perfectly. We were picked up by the very pleasant daughter of the chef who provided us with interesting facts and history of the city Bologna along the way to the charming house in the countryside. The warm welcoming inside with a homemade cake and tea was a lovely start. In the kitchen we had the opportunity to learn how to make fresh pasta (in our case it was Tagliatelle and Tortelloni) from the inspiring qualified chef Elisabetta with fresh, organic and high quality ingredients. The taste was just delicious and the amount of pasta more than enough. The vine accompanied to the pasta was another nice extra. We can truly recommend the cooking session which felt more like visiting good friends on the countryside then having a lession thanks to the welcoming atmosphere.
