Cooking class with Cristina in Bologna - We took a cooking class with Cristina in Bologna and it was amazing! We made pasta from scratch, rolling it out with a mattarello, which is even trickier than it looks. We made tagliatelle, cappelletti filled with a cheese and parsley filling, and tortelloni with a pork, cheese, and spinach filling. She also treated us to some of her amazing ragu that she made the day before as well as chocolate salami - yum! She was very informative and fun to cook with. She also sent us the recipes and videos she made via WhatsApp after the class, which is super helpful. Best of all, though, was actually sitting down to enjoy our meal. We were joined by Eleonora, a local university student, who was lovely as well, and the conversation that the four of us had was like hanging out with old friends - so much fun! The class itself was incredibly valuable, but the whole experience is one of the most memorable we’ve had in many years of traveling. Thank you to Cristina and Eleonora for a wonderful time!

Learn to make fresh pasta in a family atmosphere - I did a workshop with AnnaMaria Ponti and it was an incredible experience. Very good communicator and a very familiar atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Pasta making with Oriana was exceptional! - I booked this class with Oriana as part of a father-son Italy trip. Oriana gave us such a warm welcome into her home. We spent some time talking before diving into the pasta making class. Oriana is a very positive person and always wanted to make sure we were enjoying the experience. She also served us wine and appetizers while the dough was resting. We learned so much from Oriana and had an amazing experience. We made tagliatelle, pappardelle, and tortelloni, which we enjoyed for luch. Oriana made different sauces for each type of pasta, and everything was so delicious. This is a great way to spend a few hours to gain a deeper understanding of local Bologna food and culture, all while having a great time together and a lot of laughs. I highly recommend Oriana and look forward to taking another class with her during our next trip!

Making Pasta with Rossa - Rossa was a wonderful host. She was very helpful and explained the process and we had a great time making different types of pasta. Rossa and her cat Tony were a treat to get to know. I can make pasta now!

Great Food Experience in a local home - Our experience with Oriana was excellent! Immediately, he made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed every moment of our cooking experience! Have fun getting your hands dirty! - The experience at Alessandra's home in Bologna was truly unique. A group of friends and I, gathered to celebrate a birthday, took part in a cooking class on fresh pasta and other typical recipes of the Bolognese tradition. His ability to convey his passion for his land and for food was contagious and made us feel part of a special culinary tradition. Preparing tagliatelle, tortellini and ragù together was not only educational but also incredibly fun. The climax of our meeting was all sitting around the table to enjoy the dishes we had prepared: a true triumph of authentic and genuine flavours. This experience with Alessandra made our friend's birthday absolutely special and unforgettable.

This was a wonderful experience with amazing food! - Martina was amazing. She made us feel so welcome in her home and explained about not only what we were cooking but about the city as well. She helped when needed and walked us through step by step. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to try these recipes at home! My husband said next time we are there we are going to do her food market and cooking tour!

We enjoyed eating the... - We enjoyed eating the food we made and Alesia was very good. However we booked a private class and there were two other bookings there. Also she had a cat and one of us is very allergic and we should has known before there would be a cat

Bologna - We were stood up…no one ever showed up to pick us up. Viator couldn’t even get in touch with them so they gave us a refund.
