Great way to enjoy a fabulous pasta meal - Had a blast at this class! I joined as a single person and was paired up with a great group of others. Irene is super engaging and happy to teach us her family recipes. She was even accommodating to people’s food allergies. Highly recommend this class!

Great Experience - This was a great experience. We had a small group of 6 people (3 couples). Irene was very hands-on in explaining and showing what to do. Honestly felt that we learned a lot. We were much more interested in learning the pasta making and folding than the filling and ragu because everyone has their favorites. So, this was perfect. We should have gone into the kitchen to see the cooking process, but didn't think of that until later. The food was served with very good wine and dessert. Irene's husband picked us up and dropped us off for a fee. We were in the center of Bologna and felt the fee was quite reasonable. We highly recommend this course with Irene -- we had a great time!

Friendly, fun and delicious - Irene was an absolute delight! We made 3 pastas, with Irene guiding us through how to make each pasta shape with such joy and enthusiasm. We had a lovely time, learning lots about how to make pasta and the traditional cuisine in Bologna. Would highly recommend anyone of any cooking level to try this class out, was the perfect entrance to Bologna cooking.

Perfect Pasta Party! - This as such a wonderful experience. My husband and I did it with my daughter and her friend. The pasta making was very informative and ridiculously good. Irene’s entire family was so sweet and made us feel like part of the family. I travel a lot and think this will be a highlight of my children’s memories. Can’t wait to make pasta when I get home.

Outstanding Excursion - We had a lovely time. Irene was a great host and instructor. We greatly enjoyed learning to make the three pastas and enjoyed even more eating them. The hospitality was excellent and the surprise cake at the end was wonderful. We highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight for our group of four.

Delicious - We had an enjoyable time. Not only did we learn how to make tortellini and two other pastas, but we got to enjoy the company of several others from England and Scotland. Irene was a wonderful teacher and gracious host. The pasta we made was delicious, and oh so filling. I can't wait to cook up some pasta when we get home.

Irene was great! Recommend this class! - Irene was great! Very accommodating to a mistake I made while booking and helping us with a taxi at the end. Great company, she was very funny as well as professional. Great Bolognese teaching of three pastas and serving of our dishes at the end server with wine in her very own home. Coffee and dessert as well.

We were sick and had to cancel - Both myself and my travel mate got sick and were unable to attend. It was so disappointing. We tried to go the next day, but woke up just as ill. We were so looking forward to the pasta class!

Beware! - Although the food was yummy, the experience in itself was not as advertised. We opted to be picked up by the host, however we didn’t feel 80 euros was worth the transfer in the family car for an 11 minute ride. Irene was very knowledgeable and friendly, however we didn’t prepare or learn how to make filling, experience making the ragù, or experience how to cook the pasta. She gave us the recipe for the ragù but no hands on lesson. We did use the flour and egg to make the pasta and learn how to make shapes, however YouTube could probably do the same. Because this cooking class was in their small, cluttered, (somewhat stuffy) Italian home, her daughter would frequently interrupt. She was very friendly but didn’t seem to be aware of personal space. She was very touchy towards other guests, touching hair and tattoos, etc. It’s just not what you would expect for a “private” cooking class. Thankfully the cats were outside. Again, Irene was very nice but you’d be better off looking elsewhere if you’re wanting a “private” Italian cooking class in a nicer environment where maybe you can participate in the actual cooking.
