What a great experience... - What a great experience learning to make pasta with Grazia! It was interesting to learn the traditions and fun to make tortelloni and tagliatelle from scratch. The ragu and sauce were delicious with the pasta. One of the best classes we’ve done!

LOVED the experience - Grazia is the best! It was so special that she opened her home to us. This was not just a class, this was like leaning how to make pasta from family. She has great pasta making tips and tricks-we learned so much! The pasta, dessert, and wine were all so delicious. We had such an amazing time! Thank you, Grazia!

Worth it! - Fun pasta making experience! We not only learned to make fresh pasta from scratch and ate our own creations, but Grazie also took care to teach us in a way such that we could replicate the process at home and adjust accordingly if needed. Grazie was very warm and welcoming! Thanks for opening up your home to us.

Fun Making Pasta - One of the best cooking classes we have done! We love taking cooking classes in the countries we visit to better understand the local history and culture. This is a very intimate, interactive and informative experience. We learned some great tips and had a wonderful afternoon making pasta. If you are in Bologna then this is a great opportunity to learn how to make pasta from a local home chef - who is the absolute sweetest!

Educational and totally relaxed experience! Highly recommended! - We booked this class based on all the happy reviews and now I can add one too! We arrived a little late because we couldn’t figure out where the entrance was but she came down to get us and everything was fine. I sent Grazia a message only one day before telling her that I am vegetarian and hopefully one of the dishes could be made without meat. I felt bad for having waited until last minute to mention this but she was very kind and said she would make for me, tagliatelle with radicchio and mascarpone which I liked a lot. Our group was me, my mom (69) and daughter (9) none of us had any experience making pasta but it seemed like a fun thing to try. It was easy with Grazia’s instructions. She told us a lot about pasta and the history in Bologna. It was lovely. She is very patient and helped us all out. We made tagliatelle (served with ragù or radicchio) and tortellini filled with a ricotta mixture. We sat at a cute table by the window and even had Lambrusco with our meal. For dessert she served us a delicious semifreddo made by her and she told us how to make it too! With full bellies and full hearts we were out the door after two hours. Her home was very inviting and she was a lovely instructor with a cute dog. The dog stayed out of the way while we were making the pasta. Soon after, we were sent the recipes in an email. If you’re looking for an educational but totally chill experience, don’t hesitate to book Grazia!

Best way to get your grumpy teens away from their screens - make pasta! - We made the pasta base for tagliatelle and tortelloni - Grazia had pre-prepared a ricotta & sage filling for the tortelloni and a delicious ragu for the tagliatelle. Making pasta was a great way to engage our teenage son with an activity and spend time chatting while we worked around Grazia’s table. Grazia was a lovely hostess, bubbling with cultural tips, culinary history and gossip about Bologna. Best of all we had a great lunch at the end - primo of tagliatelle with ragu, secondo of tortelloni with a browned butter and sage sauce with a touch of tumeric for colour, a semifreddo dessert with crisp sparkling pignoletto white and limoncello to finish. Making pasta always reminds me how delicious fresh pasta tastes and makes me wish I had the time to make it more often.
